Big 12 Championship Game Open Thread

This should be interesting.  Both Oklahoma and Ohio State have to go for extreme style points.

But there is a risk if they press too much that they make mistakes and make matters worse.

If these games are close in the 4th quarter, there could be a meltdown.

Texas gets F'd on the non-PI penalty.  You know that will happen.  Gotta protect the Big 12's shot at the CFP.

Expect the same for Northwestern tonight.  They don't have a prayer.

Huge turnover for Texas.

I always bitch about defenders missing tackle after tackle because they are going for the ball strip and giving up max yards.

But this time it worked . . .

OU plays some actual defense on that one.

Could be the game.

If it is, I still think that OU left the door open a little for Ohio State . . .

I watch this game, and although its not my favorite style of football...this is the sign of the times.  Michigan must upgrade/update its offensive schemes to play more wide open and push tempo.

Michigans WRs are excellent, but to have the top receiver having only 500 yds for the year is a disgrace for recruiting.

What top WR wants to come to play for an offense where you get 500 yds over 12 games?  Not good.

This exactly. Oklahoma is going to beat a better team (NW will have 5 losses) and a rival. Plus they are avenging their only loss, which is meaningful IMO.

I can’t fathom how the committee could justify OSU passing OK ragardless of how bad they beat NW. Then again the committee is idiotic at times so who knows.
