Was going to do a similar post but instead will add...

Seems like a lighter (more normal?) year for in-state kids than 2021.

You could add former commit (and still M lean?) Myles Rowser to the list (as in-state?)  if you want -- he will be at IMG this year and is rated #33 overall as a DB/Safety.

Also of note:

  • Domani Jackson - 6'1" CB from CA is #2 overall and M was his dream school growing up.  M will be in this one until the end per Sam Webb.  (I think he is pretty tight with Green-Warren from the '20 class so hopefully DGW is enjoying M so far!)
  • OSU has 5 verbals already from that list - 3 in the top 21 --all but one are in-state kids.  This includes missing on 2 Ohio kids currently committed to other B1G teams (PSU and ntUM).
  • In addition to M and OSU the B1G has 6 other teams with verbals in this top 250 -- Iowa, Wisconsin, PSU (x2), Minnesota, Maryland, and Purdue (!?)
  • File under "Some things never change" -- There are 3 or 4!! OL from Wisconsin on the list (none have committed to a school yet)

I was talking to Tay’Shawn the other day and he was joking to me about his MSU offer. He’s been working real hard, and is super bummed about the postponement

Could you imagine a CB haul of Will Johnson and Domani Jackson!

Unfortunately is seems like Johnson is pretty keen on LSU.

Really hoping for one of them. Both would be unreal. Add Rowser and Gould and this class could rival OSU's insane class of 2017 with Okudah (8), Wade (17), Pryor (63), Williamson (182), Riep (186). Obviously turned out well for them with the exception of Riep.

I remember a time when I couldn't wait for lists like this to be released.  Now I just seem to try to not look at it because: a) I don't want to get my hopes on the guys we will be favored for and miss on or b) the fact our archnemesis has 3 of the top 4 linebackers and is favored to get the 4th.  I really tried not to look.
