As a Sixers fan, watching the Process finally come together has been fascinating. Embiid and Simmons look like the real deal - should be an interesting postseason in the East.
PSU is also coming off a bye week. Not that I think an extra week of game prep is super beneficial for an ass hat like Franklin, but their players will be rested.
Been watching Hard Knocks for the past 4 seasons. Always interesting to see the team from the GM perspective. Gerald McCoy seems like a really good dude on the Bucs.
I really like All or Nothing on Amazon as well. Last year was especially interesting as they followed the Rams and Fisher's in-season firing.
The funny thing about his stat line for this year is that it could be a lot better. He should probably have an additional 3-4 sacks, but somehow the QBs have escaped him on a few attempts this season.
I appreciate the feedback. I like your strategy of grabbing 1 stud RB and then wait for the spending to cool down. I expect an urge to spend a lot early by the rest of the league, so holding off may be the way to go.
Our league is doing an auction draft for the first time this year. I am looking forward to the new format and I expect it to be more enjoyable than traditional snake drafts.
As an experienced auction drafter, any general advice?

I'll take that as a Sixers fan for sure. That, or bring SH back.
Not surprised to see this was written by Dodd. He's been a Michigan hater for years.
Underrated NFL career - hats off to David.
Whatever
YESSSS!!!
Tough to see him go, but I do think it is beneficial for both sides.

Not as worried about @NW, @MSU and PSU, but the other 3 games are terrifying.
Is this a second posbang thread? It should be to celebrate this day.
Great tribute by Devin. Glad to see he's having a decent amount of success this year.
RIP Doc Halladay. Tough to hear the tragic news. Amazing pitcher and seemed like an even better person.
6-2
My condolences for you and your family. Thank you for sharing your story - it's a reality to check for us all to keep things in perspective.
There is mention of a Part II in the works, which will hopefully get into the details of fixing some of our offensive issues.
We Own...Penn State!
Also, if you watch last year's highlights you'll notice that our players making plays are still on this team - Hurst, Gary, McCray, etc.
I think we have a decent shot at winning on Saturday.
Probably crossing the line on this one.
Go Blue!

I agree with you and think that DP is one of the best sports talk radio hosts out there.
I also think he has some weird thing against Harbaugh, for whatever reason. Must be the Ohio native in DP.
Nice Mike Barwis sighting in the article as well.
Home and Home with James Madison, my alma mater.

Getting a little worried about playing Floriday as our first game, especially with our super young squad.
Let's hope their offense is still a disaster and we can pull out the win.
There's been quite a bit of chatter on the board regarding PSU and how they are likely overrated, but what is everyone's take on Wisky this year?
I honestly don't know much about this year's squad, but we were in a close one with them last year. Curious to hear some opinions.
YMRMFSPA: Taco Pants?
Jimi Hendrix's spirit leads the marching band as well.
Initials must be J.H.

My priority list, in order: either Harbaugh, Mullen, Foster, Herman, Frost.
QB: Romo
RB: Lacy
RB: Gio
WR: Dez
WR: Crabtree
WR: G. Tate
Flex: Gerhart
TE: Gronk
Bench: Sanky, T. Williams, Watkins, J. Gordon, M. Ingram, Hyde
Feel pretty good about my squad. If either Gronk or Gordon pan out I should be set.
Parents live in Seattle, so this is fantastic news! Great destination for travelers.

JERSEY SHORE
I catch myself humming the OSU fight song from time to time.
Please let this happen. The Sixers would be a fun team to watch.
Great news, nice to get the QB position locked down for this class.
For round one, here are my preferences as an Eagles fan:
1. Ha Ha - we need a safety badly
2. Barr - pass rusher also a big concern
3. Beckman
4. Lee
5. Cooks
6. None of those available, trade down
Great tribute. A lot of highlights in two short years.
Glide mode getting a lot of love on the poll by the way.
Really excited to see this kid in action. Peppers for Heisman 2014.
Expect a call from Urban if we show any interest.
Terrible sports week...plan to drink and bang tonight to make up for it.
Year ban for weed is ludarcris.
Ouch.
Sweet, will be able to go to this game.
Parker officially declared for the draft today. I would expect him to go in the top 2.
