There is Hope Thread-of-the-Day: Brandon Graham Edition
Brandon Graham continues to shed the "Bust" label that he even self-imposed on himself at one time. Prior to this NFL season, there was talk Graham would be traded, and that his NFL future hinged on his ability to play exclusively 4-3 end.
In a rotation heavy defense, in which he plays typically less than 40% of the Eagles' defensive snaps, Graham has so far put together an impressive year. Through Week 10, he shares the NFL lead(!) in Forced Fumbles, with 4. He is also tied for 19th in Tackles-for-Loss, with 9. His 4.5 sacks aren't too shabby either.
As we struggle through this disappointing Michigan season, I hope many of you find encouragement in Brandon's career resurrection. He has adapted to a 3-4 OLB scheme many, including himself, thought would never quite fit.

Eagles defense is full of ball hawks this year. Quite a turn around from last year indeed. It's nice seeing Graham and Molk contributing to the team.

The funny thing about his stat line for this year is that it could be a lot better. He should probably have an additional 3-4 sacks, but somehow the QBs have escaped him on a few attempts this season.

but Brandon Graham never played for him. Graham was drafted in '10.

where I said Brandon Graham's improved play would help the current Michigan team.
The point I made was quite obvious: Brandon Graham, a former All-American who played for the team I love, and I assume you do as well, has completely turned around his professional career, from disappointment to borderline standout. This gives me hope, as I love seeing former Michigan players/alumni suceed in their professional endeavors.
If you need constant Harabaugh rumormongering to give yourself hope, it might be a cold Winter, my friend. You're going to need a few more "rrrrrrrrrrrr" in your signature line.

...have a combined six TDs this year. That's getting it done.

Glad to see Graham get some consistent playing time and showing his potential for Philly. Thought it was a bad situation for him, but hopefully this is a positive sign.

Imagine my excitement to see Magnus get a sack on MNF. Very cool.
