Last years UM HC and passing coordinator have teamed up with last years HC at Florida to run our offense. We are playing a PSU, Msu, Wisonsin, ND and OSU defense with Nebraska and Northwestern to boot.. Is there any reason why we all arent scared shitless?
“More of the same” offense from last year and we go 8-5 again
Brand new “where did that offense come from?” And we are 11-2.
The boards faith in a few offseason practices is a real head scratcher.
Wisconsin and Msu’s ceiling for recruiting will always be our floor. Before we can reach OSU levels (im not saying we cant beat them but being on equal footing) we need to at least maintain MSU/Wisconsin type success. Once we are there then we can make the next jump. We have the talent already for that. We need the (offensive) coaching to show up more than anything.
If he got the 6th seed and lost in the playoffs he would still be coach? They will probably hire some guy that played 16 months ago to coach a multi million dollar franchise. The NBA front offices arent just terrible they are unbelievable. How can you tell when a team is tanking with the moves these teams make. How many kids will be drafted this season under the age of 20 that will never start an NBA game. Love the game of basketball but these teams makes some horrible moves.
Bo jackson the running back. Wasnt great? seriously?
I ran that kid back to the 1 on every kickoff just to set up the 99 yard runs. Marcus Allen get off the damn field nobody has time for your “solid” 12 yard runs.
But in all seriousness Bo jackson was absolutely elite at RB while in his prime pre injury.
What are you guys talking about? He hasnt even started a game yet. Not to mention our dline is so stacked it will be awhile before he gets a good number of snaps. Lets be patient.
And not making the NBA playoffs there are no excuses. Come on man 8 teams in the East make the playoffs. Bad luck may be keeping from being mediocre butnot from being a great coach.
So Europe is an option I suppose. If thats what he wants. His best path is to become better at his craft next year and work into a first rounder. Hit your free throws though first. Nobody is drafting a guy of his size if they are 50%.
Don Brown and the defense are set. You can give him BC recruits and he will field a top 5 defense year in and year out. Now the issue is getting offensive playmakers. Its hard to recruit the best on that side of the ball when you fielded a Home/Borges offense last season. Until that is fixed we wont recruit at a high level on that side. These kids see what we see and it isnt one thing. Oline and QB needs to do a 180.

The conference finals work as the semis more often then not.

Just a guess though
Also just ask us to quiet down next time.

Thats a rare skill set.
They are so good some make it as WRs in the Nfl.... some
Typical Beilein math.
Our 3 stars will go to the NBA before several McDs AA as well.
Rinse. Repeat.
Maybe not playing games will give him the leap
Like playing games didnt.
Nobody wouldve kept Wisconsin out with one solid win over OSU.
10-3
8-5
If the 8-5 is the blip on the radar then yeah he has bailed us out big time.
He isnt 7’2”

Take the risk out of it. Squib kicks could become a thing though.
