"Harbaugh is a great coach"? You cannot be serious. Recognizing the ugly truth is better than perpetuating a beautiful lie. Michigan is an elite PROGRAM with a washed up, outdated coach who likely has a combination of CTE and ADHD that affects his ability to reasonate and communicate with his substandard TEAM. I have been an avid Michigan fan and alum for 51 years, and I cannot recall a season where I have had lesser expectations (and less optimism) than this upcoming season, and its all because of Harbaugh. Harbaugh has brought UM to the point where it looks up to Iowa as a more consistent football team, and that's pathetic.
I live near and watch Northeastern, and I've seen this guy play. He's good but not the savior to a program that is fortunately treading in a sea of retarded sexuality.

Ask yourself this: would any other Michigan AD (save for Bill Martin) keep Jim Harbaugh under these circumstances? Don Canham would have kicked him out immediately upon learning that Harbaugh was delaying signing a contract extension to explore NFL opportunities. It is amazing to me how Warde is letting Harbaugh do this damage to the program. Pillaging the university for $8 million per year is de minimis compared to the recruiting damage Harbaugh has done.
With his NFL search, Harbaugh is making the football team look like his distant second priority and Warde is letting him do it, to the detriment of UM's entire football program. Even if Harbaugh agrees to an extension, no remotely intelligent recruit who seeks program stabiility will come here. I'm really praying he gets offered the Chargers or Texas job and walks. In the long run, UM will be so much better off.
While we debate his floor/ceiling, Harbaugh is sitting in California and the team is watching good players in the transfer portal sign elsewhere. This program is in shambles, and Harbaugh is Mr. Shambler.

People tend to forget the 4-6 games during the Jedd Fisch era where the playcalling was still incredibly poor.
Regardless of who is back, I'm looking forward to Harbaugh convering all the 4* talent into 3* talent. He truly has a knack for doing that.
