maybe it's too much copium but from all the Matt Brown links and Eric Rayweather I've been watching on Youtube I really, really like the direction this game is going in. Matt Brown had a comment like "I know everyone hates EA but give this game a chance" and he has seen it in person at EA's studios.
From what I've been seeing the off-line mode is extremely detailed and they are less focused on sellout out to the NCAA UT crew. That isn't to say the mode doesn't exist, but it will be more dynasty and Road to Glory focused.
They don't need to show gameplay because most people are already set on buying it. They are keeping tight lipped about it but from the few leaks that have been put out there this game is heavily detailed and you should be able to enjoy all the Michigan traditions in real life in video game form, like tapping the banner. I hope they put Mr Brightside in because if the crowd sings that during the game it would be fire
While they will continue to use the Frostbite engine like Madden, that's where the similarities end.
Matt Brown has reported it is not another Madden re-skin and this game is different largely based on how the college game varies from the pro game. You should see a wider variety of playbooks and offenses. Different dev teams are working on this game, and EA isn't as limited by what they can do in this game as opposed to Madden where you can't rename teams. In NCAA you could easily rename a team if you wanted and put them in the game with team builder (rumor)

I am so amped for this game, from everything I've read and everything that's been leaked it's going to be insane. The multiple announce teams, more important teams doing more high profile games and Michigan - say...UNLV getting a lesser crew instead of the same Kirk crew for every game, that's big
Throw in your ability to customize any team to play in NCAA including the notorious "Bishop Sycamore" and it's a huge W
lot of good jabs in there, my favorite is when jeff ross made the massage reference and tom literally gets up from his seat, goes to the mic and says "Don't say that shit again" lol
I got tickets to see them play and the tickets were like 70 dollars to sit in the club section which is just the 200 level of Nationals park. They also had a lottery for regular non-season ticket holders but a lot of people didn't win.
Barely have anything other than title short tee and long tee. Also have a plastic sign (national champions) that is above my hatsune miku calendar at my home office. That and a Jim Harbaugh bobblehead with the Michigan Stadium base
NCAA has never done anything helpful for the game. all they do is whine and penalize minor transgressions. Nobody has ever said "Hey that is a good idea for the NCAA to do This, or that". From the UNC receiver Montez being unable to play due to bureaucratic waivers, to JMU being unable to participate in a bowl because of NCAA regulations, to Miami getting dinged in women's basketball because Katie Meier introduced the cavinder twins to John Ruiz, the NCAA has very, very rarely done anything beneficial for the sport.
curry used to appear on espn radio programming like mike and mike constantly. i grew tired of him but then I watched America's Game episodes of him on the packers and colts and I was fine with him after that.
True that his more traditional sports talk approach is more tolerable than what is on ESPN these days.
Izzo is a solid coach that being said all that hype about his March play only to have UNC go 5-0 against him all time including 2 national championship gaffes in 2005 and 2009...lol
He was fine as a studio head but being a major PBP just wasn't right. I didn't even notice he was their PBP anyway I thought it was always Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge. Maybe those were the B1G crew.
One caveat, you can't choose your own games. I read that you may be able to soon, but at this point being spoonfed games that frequently do not match what you're trying to watch is not fun.
All's I wants is to just watch Michigan in one screen, ABC in another, FOX in another and NBC or ESPN on the 4th. But no, they always throw in a game nobody cares about. The logic behind some of those multiview games stinks.
i've threatened before after seeing what I've seen about this game...if it pans out you will never see me online after July 2024 because I'll be spending every waking moment of my life from that point on, playing this game.
