Sherrone publicly promised Trente a start in one of the '23 season's first two games. If Sherrone was willing to go back on that why not go back on your "effective guarantee"?

If I'm an NFL GM and my QB room justifies it I'd give Tagovailoa a UDFA shot. Am convinced Locksley is very good at offensive gameplanning but poor at developing QB.
If Sherrone Moore had kept to his '23 pre-season public statement that each of the 4 candidates for LT/RT would get a start in the first 2 games, Trente Jones would have either been drafted or he would have come back. And if the latter we wouldn't be going thru this dance at RT this season.

Small sample size, drops, blah blah blah. Under 6 ypa is not good. The question is, was there enough to the eye to suggest Orji could reasonably command over 6 ypa in the fall. And preferably 7. If not you have to look elsewhere for your starting QB.
Signing Prince was never a good idea. He was arguably the worst fielding 1st baseman in baseball when we got him. And off their career peak overweight players decline at twice the rate of non-overweight players.
