Per Wolverines Wire: Black expected to see limited snaps/Gary did not make the trip

He’s injured, cut the kid some slack! He brings it every time he’s suited up for us.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:27 AM ^
That's not fair. If he's hurt, what do you want? He is hurt, believe that.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:34 AM ^
I dont know who to believe anymore after these last 7 days lol
October 20th, 2018 at 10:34 AM ^
Disappointing? Not really. If every player on our team was as good as Gary we’d be defending national champs.
He IS following the Peppers trajectory though. Great but not as great as he could have been.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:18 AM ^
I don't get how Peppers enters this conversation. Did you completely ignore his junior year where he was a consensus All-American and a Heisman Finalist as a defensive player? That year alone was better than 99% of most college players entire 4-year careers.
He missed two bowl games. I am not sure how that changes his career all that much.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:16 AM ^
You've lost your opinion-having privilege.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:23 AM ^
Fuck. Like other posters said, I fear Gary is done. Sucks. I think we will need him today. I wish it was 4 already so I knew the outcome of this game. This lead-up has stressed me out.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:24 AM ^
On another note, Bush is fired up. He had to be restrained on the field in warmups. I hope he isn't "too" fired up. The band was walking thru the players warming up, and bumped some of the players. Today will be a blood bath.
Edit: It was Spartan players, not the band.

Please don't get ejected for targeting on the opening drive..
October 20th, 2018 at 10:41 AM ^
Please don't get ejected for targeting in warm-ups . . .
October 20th, 2018 at 11:08 AM ^
Something something username...
October 20th, 2018 at 10:24 AM ^
I would rather have 60 healthy guys in Lansing today than 59 and a cheerleader, even if the cheerleader is Gary. I would rather have a fully healthy Gary against PSU or even later for OSU than a marginal Gary for today. And given what we know about what a quality person Gary is, there is zero reason at this point to project anything negative on him for this. Maybe it'll look different at the end of the season but I would be very surprised.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:37 AM ^
What Bush did is embarrassing. Would be a big fine in the nfl. Let’s give them momentum. Wow not feeling good anymore after that act of stupidity.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:41 AM ^
Why?!? I agree, come on....
October 20th, 2018 at 10:43 AM ^
Definitely embarrassing and I wouldnt put it past Harbaugh to sit him out a few series for what he did. I love that he is jacked up, but come.... If you are going to embarrass yourself and the Univeristy like that, at least do it AFTER you beat them.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:44 AM ^
Spartan players walked arm in arm from sideline to sideline thru the Michigan players warming up on the field. Both sides could have handled it better, but I don't have a problem with it, as long as he doesn't do anything stupid during the game.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:19 AM ^
This has got to be the most obvious attempt at trolling I've seen in awhile. Well done dipshit.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:38 AM ^
The disrespeck is turned up a notch at sparty stadium right now. On the Twitter's there's a clip of Bush kicking the Spartan logo. And as the Spartans matched down the field arm in arm like a chain gang the UM players refused to move or get off the field breaking up their little sparty chain gang.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:43 AM ^
Maybe we are finally bringing some intensity along with talent. I will take at a good sign. This is already Spartys super bowl so it won’t give them any extra energy but we need to match their hate
October 20th, 2018 at 10:38 AM ^
Disappointing about Gary. I'm fine with and understand his caution and wanting to secure his future. But ad a fan I can be disappointed and I am, especially with the talk of these "handlers"....partially because God knows this types ofn people have never been wrong or had ill intentions.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:42 AM ^
Michigan just needs to win, plain and simple. They are the better team, no excuses. Need to get that losing to ranked teams on the road off the table. Get over all these tough obstacles and make it a magical season! Play loose and play smart.
Gary is a stud and needs to do what’s best for him!
Hope Black is wide open for a td like aginst Florida!
Go blue!
October 20th, 2018 at 10:44 AM ^
I'd like "Massive overreactions by sports fans" for $1000, Alex.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:45 AM ^
What came first? the Spartan walk or bush tearing up logo, did he tear up the logo in reaction to the Spartan walk or was it prior to
October 20th, 2018 at 10:46 AM ^
Yeah, I would like full context as well. Anyone?
October 20th, 2018 at 10:50 AM ^
Looks like the walk was first. Then after they were off the field Bush decided to clean off his spikes on the logo.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:23 AM ^
Exactly... young fella was just cleaning off his shoes. Maybe he stepped in dog shit...
October 20th, 2018 at 11:37 AM ^
+1 underrated
October 20th, 2018 at 11:50 AM ^
He stepped in dogshit the moment he stepped off the bus.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:53 AM ^
According to the Twitters, the MSU walk was first and they were bumping into UM players, after the walk ended Bush went to mid field and was kicking the logo.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:55 AM ^
Apparently he was on the field when they started doing their walk. I have no idea why Bush would do this. This is fated to be another of ignominious moment in Michigan football history.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:58 AM ^
Yea I'm reading both sides now, so who the fuck knows at this point. MSU fans are saying he should be arrested for destruction of property though, which is hilarious.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:54 AM ^
Looked pretty mild to me. We don't know what sparty said to Bush either. Could have been talking about his momma or something. Overblown IMO.
October 20th, 2018 at 10:56 AM ^
Ugh, Gary not making a bus ride trip is not good news. Just a shame given how devastated he was last year. I am sure he wanted to play and seek revenge. Hope he is OK. Wouldn't shock me that he tried to practice last week and re-injured the AC joint and maybe even needed surgery (explaining why he did not travel).
October 20th, 2018 at 10:57 AM ^
If Rashan Gary didn't travel I hope he hangs out and watches the game at my house
October 20th, 2018 at 11:00 AM ^
Rashan Gary no longer wishes to play for the University of Michigan. Rashan Gary is saving himself for the NFL draft. I understand Gary's decision/ . I do not agree with Gary's decision.
If Gary wont play versus Sparty, he certainly isnt going to play any other game this season. Its over. Move on. Gary is effectively no longer a Wolverine. Gary is now a member of the NFL draft.
Good luck to Gary. I am sure the crazy money he makes in the NFL will greatly help his family. Gary was a good player at UM, but never quite reached his full potential. Hopefully Gary reaches his full potential in the NFL.
The next time you see Rashan Gary play a football game, it will be on a Sunday. Sorry everyone. Its over. Accept it.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:07 AM ^
Agree - college football is changing for the worse. I know the money is a big deal, but turning your back on your teammates is not a good look. He has a right to do what he wants but this is why while not being the best athlete, Chase is the better football player.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:12 AM ^
Jump to conclusions much? Why don't we let it play out a little, at least until after the bye week before losing your mind completely. If he is not healthy enough to dress, he probably does not make the travel roster for a road game.
He wasn't even dressed last week for a big home game against a ranked team. I don't know why some people magically expected him to play this week.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:22 AM ^
Somebody’s been hitting the Pumpkin Spice Ale a little early his morning and is flexin’ their mgoblog muscles. Relax, Gary’s been nothing but good for this team and our school.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:45 AM ^
And if Gary suits up against Penn State in two weeks, you'll be just another internet know-it-all making a definitive statement about something you actually know nothing about. At a kid's expense. But will there be any mea culpa, an apology of any kind, or just another shameless bs post the next time there is something to be absolutely "sure" about?
My money is on the latter.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:14 AM ^
Good day to rake leaves. After Michigan loses Harbaugh better not apologize for anything Devin Bush did like that pansy Hoke.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:40 AM ^
I would think you might enjoy life more if you just walk away from Michigan football.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:53 AM ^
He gone. To NFL that is. Gary.
I really thought he'd be back.
October 20th, 2018 at 11:58 AM ^
Sucks about Gary, but good to hear about Black. Is funny how certain "insiders" have been flip-flopping on both in the way random-ass internet rumors tend to go.
October 20th, 2018 at 12:02 PM ^
Hope you enjoyed Gary the last 2 years. Because he is going then Bosa route.
October 20th, 2018 at 12:19 PM ^
Looks like he broke his forearm.
October 20th, 2018 at 12:29 PM ^
Good job Pep.

October 20th, 2018 at 12:59 PM ^
Gary is done. Another 5 star recruit who did not live up to all the hype.thought he was going to dominate this year. Good luck in the nfl.
