Unranked Michigan beat unranked UCLA. Unranked UCLA then beat #7 Kentucky. I am no John Nash, but I am pretty sure this means we ought to be ranked #1, right?

Celebrating the holiday in Lexington this year. There was an angry quasi mob at the mall this morning, dads xmas shopping and all. I rather enjoyed the comments about how UCLA should be ranked top 10. My michigan hoodie got some frowns so I made it a quick trip. UK tears are salty.

Try moving to Lexington during the fab 5 era and you'd really hate Kentucky. Before I moved here, I actually liked Kentucky, but loved my Wolverines. Enough times of random middle aged men trying to start actual fights with my 16 year old self because I wore Michigan gear and wouldn't say Kentucky was better, was enough to develop an extreme hatred.

Go Blue and go anyone playing big blue.

Born and raised. Being a Michigan fan all my life I can truly attest to the fact that you’re absolutely correct on these two being the worst fan bases. When UK is in football season it’s usually the “ Go SEC” chant I hear. Last year when two SEC teams made the final four in hoops it was insufferable. UK fans don’t even know anything about other teams so you can’t even discuss sports in general. Ohio St really needs no explanation of why they are the worst.

Kentucky was a good team but Michigan was a #1 seed and ranked in the top 5 all season. Great win certainly but Michigan had four NBA players.

for John and the team. They're on a nice little roll anyway, and this is a huge boost. With the B1G in general doing so poorly, this should help distinguish them. Just have to avoid bad losses to bad teams. I think they could finish as high as third in the conference.

was thinking that the whole time I was watching that game.

Texas beating a previously ranked Bama team at Bama is also good for us.

Besides that's 2 losses for the SEC cause fuck the SEC!

UM fan and UK fan. UCLA played out of their minds against UK. But UM has the makings of being very good if they can get it together. Anyone can beat UK in the beginng of the season they're so inexperienced

Wow. Really helps Michigan. Hope this team can be consistent going into Big Ten play. I really think Matthews needs to assert himself more.

Remember that the unoriginally named AA Forever, Go Blue Forever, and Michigan Forever are troll accounts of a Sparty fan.  Even though we can't understand how depressing this person's life must be, let's wish him well in this season of giving.

Please tell me where the if goes; with the Kenpom or the unranked team! This is beneath a discussion you’ve purported that Michigan would’ve lost, if. So, when you try and argue a point at least include a possible answer to your point. It’s beyond sub-stratal at this point.

Isn’t a quality team. Although they just beat Kentucky. So by your generous deduction Michigan, has zero quality wins. Although Michigan did beat UCLA, the win is not considered a quality win? Yeah well your intelligence will not be questioned.

UCLA that Ken Pom has at 51 even AFTER beating Kentucky?  The UCLA that was a mess when we barely beat them at home? That UCLA?

Is Wofford a quality team becasue they just beat North Carolina, at North Carolina?  By your logic, apparently so. By your logic, they are better than us, since we got smoked at UNC.
