Sadly, Denard will probably be the last one (to grace the cover of the NCAA CFB video game)

Submitted by MonkeyMan on

Here is a great story over on Yahoo about Denard being the last cover character on the NCAA CFB video game. It goes into how he really got into gaming early and saw his virtual and real world meet. Cool read if you like this human interest type stuff.

My apologies if it has already been posted or is off topic.

you can only play as a Michigan dynasty for so long... we've all won our 15 national titles with Michigan, then you move on to something more challenging. In my favorite dynasty, I worked my way from Florida Atlantic to a sanction riddled and winless Georgia Tech team and then turned them into one of the greatest powers in college football.

I find it really hard to like Denard honestly he always stares his man down hardcore and made awful throws, unless the opponent was MACtion or some body with poor defense.

He could have been the best PR/KR since Desmond Howard. I also felt if Tate would have stayed Hoke would have had an easier transition to the Pro style offense.

The only time I remember a credible big time pass was to Roundtree against ND with :3 to go

CSB: I finally pulled the trigger on my Shoelace Foundation tee in the moments after the thing that happened last Saturday. I usually stress about spending, even on something small like that, but it made me feel better. Arrived today and can't wait to wear it.

I find it really hard to find a logical statement made with your post... Denard was our whole team during those years I would kill to see him suiting up for U of M this year (though probably not at qb- actually take that back if Denard could hit one deep ball during a whole season he would be better than rudock). Big playmakers like him are one thing we are lacking this year

I was told to never enter into a battle of wits against an unarmed opponent and I Will stick to it. If you didn't like watching Denard and don't think he was the one thing keeping the offense afloat those first couple of Brady years, I have nothing for you.

Video games passed me by when Super Mario Brothers 3 came out for the original Nintendo. Still, I bought the game and never opened because Denard is on the cover.

Someone needs to make a college football game, even if it's not EA.

...or at least make a version like Ultimate Team, where it uses the colleges and players that have already graduated, to avoid those compensation issues with student athletes.
