Don Brown on Attack Each Day Podcast
If you're a fan of some coach speak and dissecting of coverages and offenses then check out this week's Attack Each Day Harbaugh's podcast. You have Jack, Jim, and Don Brown talking about the Superbowl.
Anyone have a favorite #JackTalk? This man is a national treasure and reminds me so much of my recently deceased father. But he reminds me a lot of the importance of spending time with my kids despite my busy schedule. "the power of playing catch" is definitely something i subscribe to.

is never OT, or semi OT

I've appreciated the podcast very much, and it should be required listening for Petey F whose primary points of reference are the scumbags in the conference that he covers. I've often thought, while listening, that if I were a recruit or his parents, and I listened to that podcast, wild horses couldn't drag me to another school.

No one wants to be dragged by horses, but pretty much everyone would be lured by bags of cash.

Good Lord man what torture that had to be for him. Most yardage gained in ANY game in NFL history and you're going to make Dr. Defense watch it?
I havent listened yet but how much do people think he can take without passing out?

I’m starting to feel like people need to be explained what “OT” is again. Multiple threads that have been titled OT that are obviously not lately.

Yeah, my wife accidentally threw away the MgoHandbook as she was cleaning out our lockbox. Title has been edited

I love Jack’s story of Jim being in his sideline at WKU, and son asking dad- “do you ever call a forward pass?” Dad called a pass, they scored a td. Son says “ see how easy it is?”

I really enjoy these podcasts for the most part. They've had some good guests, and JT Rogen does a good job of keeping it moving along. The most interesting guest I've heard was Sarah Harbaugh. First off she comes off as a very sweet, grounded woman who really loves her kids and is very involved with their lives--far cry from "diva who will never leave California" we heard about when Jim was thinking of coming to Michigan. John Harbaugh has been on and it can be funny when they start sharing stories, often needling each other, but at the end they always tell each other "I love you." Overall just a great insight into the inner workings of a dynastic football family. Also throughout the season it was interesting to hear Jim's perspective--you would never know if they won or lost the last game. He maintains an even keel and a positive outlook and vows that they will keep getting better. Steadying influence for a fanbase that can freak out (ahem) after every setback.

Brian's analysis when Don Brown was hired. Year 3 for his defenses are lights out. . .

...but how does this have to do with Petit Frere?
February 6th, 2018 at 1:38 PM ^
Nothing, but insiders are getting silly over this one. The largest share of CB's at 42%, recent, etc, are now pointing to columbus. I've attempted to dissect their rationale, and here's what it boils down to:
The Buckeyes have managed to turn themselves into a contender late in the process, largely beginning with Petit-Frere’s relationship with Schiano and later with offering an impressive package of academics and personal development on his official visit to Columbus. The ways in which a program can improve Petit-Frere as a student and person off of the football field are critically important in this recruitment, and I’m told that Ohio State has impressed in those categories.
Personally, Nicholas Petit-Frere strikes me as a guy who would get bored talking to osu football players after about a day.
Assuming arguendo that everything we know about him is accurate (including that he's extremely smart), I have a hard time grasping that he's on board with osu simply due to his relationship with Schiano and due to what osu's academics can do for him as even a cursory google review on those specific topics would prove enlightening.
