My total agreement.
We all come here to share, discuss, and enhance each other's Michigan fandom.
I certainly am not qualified to throw a stone at others, and I am 100% sure that nobody else can do so either.
So let us enjoy what we have here with embracing arms.

OP: Your mention of umbig11 was gratuitous.

OP: MineralKing alt account confirmed

Not gratuitous, factual. He was the “source” of those rumors. You might also notice I didn’t opine or disparage.

Brian included this in yesterday’s OV in a link at the end. Glad Chuck is here to stay!

LT: Hayes
LG: Filiaga
C: Carpenter/Vastardis
RG: Stueber
RT: Mayfield
There have been many worse situations for teams replacing 4 starters on the line. I feel good about where they are.

This is how I see it:
LT: Hayes
LG: Filiaga/Honigford/Barnhart/Rumler/Stewart/Vastardis
C: Carpenter
RG: Stueber
RT: Mayfield

This is a good line from guys we know are in the room right now.
There’s a chance the room adds a grad transfer like Devery Hamilton still, and gets even better.
January 8th, 2020 at 11:01 AM ^
Do you know if Hamilton is being looked at as a swing player or pure tackle?
January 8th, 2020 at 12:14 PM ^
He didn't play tackle for Stanford.
January 8th, 2020 at 12:49 PM ^
A swing guy I believe
January 8th, 2020 at 1:05 PM ^
Hamilton was starting at guard for Stanford, so I don't know why he wouldn't be looked at as a swing player - or a guard only.
January 8th, 2020 at 10:08 AM ^
Damn Ruiz would look good in that line up for so many reasons. I would expect a few growing pains but the line should be a good one.
We have a ton of versatility as well with the ability to move guys between Tackle/Guard and Guard/Center.
Recruiting seems to have settled in finally.....And Warinner!

Everyone is penciling Stueber in for next year but big men do not always come back so quickly from an ACL. I certainly hope that he is ready next year, but perhaps as the third tackle rather than starting at guard.
January 8th, 2020 at 10:54 AM ^
I would be more concerned if he tore his ACL later in the season. But he did it before the first game even happened. That would give him close to a year of recovery before a game and just short of a year before fall practices.

Has Ambry Thomas declared one way or the other?
January 8th, 2020 at 11:08 AM ^
Pretty sure he declared the other.
January 8th, 2020 at 10:21 AM ^
What kind of loser would have two MGO accounts?
January 8th, 2020 at 10:22 AM ^
I know, right? There's some sick weirdos out there.
January 8th, 2020 at 10:23 AM ^
You sound very intelligent and I have a suspicion you're a T Rex with the ladies.
January 8th, 2020 at 10:25 AM ^
How nice of you to say!
January 8th, 2020 at 10:39 AM ^
I did a little investigative snooping and can verify that Transfer Portal and Transfer Protal are not the same person.
January 8th, 2020 at 11:11 AM ^
"T Rex with the ladies"
Is that a good thing?
January 8th, 2020 at 1:01 PM ^
He short-arms them.
January 8th, 2020 at 10:35 AM ^
I take it all with a grain of salt- Chuck could simply be seeing how the spring practice plays out so the rumor could still have some validity. If hope he stays because the prospect of 3 RS freshmen on the Oline makes me nervous.

More good news after days of poop. Can’t wait to see Dylan and Milton battle it out!

Anybody who automatically believes what an anonymous account says on the internet that's not based on specific and independently confirmable information from identified sources is a fool.
January 8th, 2020 at 12:46 PM ^
I can't decide if I should believe this statement
January 8th, 2020 at 12:50 PM ^
I really wish we as sports fans would stop publicly discussing a kid's possible decisions before they occur. It's a shitty amount of pressure and exposure that none of us would like if it occurred to us in our lives.
January 8th, 2020 at 1:15 PM ^
After losing more than half of the 2017 #5 class in the nation I'm hoping we don't add any further to that. Sheesh that's nuts. We are going to have to do a better job of either evaluation, retention, and or injury luck to ever get over the good, but not great hump.

Damn, UMbig11 is striking out haaaarrrrddddd
