Contrary to Reports, Filiaga Staying

Despite what was posted here previously by umbig11, Sam Webb says Chuck Filiaga not entering transfer portal.  Very good news.

My total agreement.

We all come here to share, discuss, and enhance each other's Michigan fandom.

I certainly am not qualified to throw a stone at others, and I am 100% sure that nobody else can do so either.

So let us enjoy what we have here with embracing arms.

LG: Filiaga

C: Carpenter/Vastardis

RG: Stueber

There have been many worse situations for teams replacing 4 starters on the line. I feel good about where they are.

Damn Ruiz would look good in that line up for so many reasons.  I would expect a few growing pains but the line should be a good one.

We have a ton of versatility as well with the ability to move guys between Tackle/Guard and Guard/Center.

Recruiting seems to have settled in finally.....And Warinner!

I take it all with a grain of salt- Chuck could simply be seeing how the spring practice plays out so the rumor could still have some validity. If hope he stays because the prospect of 3 RS freshmen on the Oline makes me nervous.

Anybody who automatically believes what an anonymous account says on the internet that's not based on specific and independently confirmable information from identified sources is a fool.

I really wish we as sports fans would stop publicly discussing a kid's possible decisions before they occur.  It's a shitty amount of pressure and exposure that none of us would like if it occurred to us in our lives.

After losing more than half of the 2017 #5 class in the nation I'm hoping we don't add any further to that.  Sheesh that's nuts.  We are going to have to do a better job of either evaluation, retention, and or injury luck to ever get over the good, but not great hump.
