I still think the fumbles…

I still think the fumbles are worth mentioning as they gave the Buckeyes short fields on 3 drives with the first being a very short field.

Although the teams common opponents don't have similar home and away venues it's certainly worth noting.

I'm not trying to get my…

I'm not trying to get my points reinstated, just trying to explain where I'm coming from.

I hope Brian et al. do seek legal action against him.

I'm sure you're right, they…

I'm sure you're right, they shouldn't care. I'm concerned more about those MGoBlog supporters like me who don't see every post about what an asshole this guy is and what lengths he's taking to try and deceive people.

I watch a lot of Michigan related sports videos on YouTube, sometimes he comes up in my feed. I'm sure I'm not alone. Some supporters may not be aware what he's doing and, like me, when I saw Ace's name in his thumbnail I got curious, I supported Ace in the past. I was shocked at the level of vitriol he was spewing. I confronted him and actually got support from a Buckeye fan.

I have now blocked him from my YouTube feed and I'm trying to get others to do the same. He needs to be demonetized. The fastest way that happens is if more people know sooner.

That's fine for me but how…

That's fine for me but how am I going to help others realize this if it's not at least mentioned so others are aware?

Dump the link or whatever so there's no chance to click through.

I see you took away almost…

I see you took away almost all of my points.

I wasn't trying to promote Yoder, I was trying to defend this blog that I've enjoyed for more than 11 years and have even financially supported.

I even called him out on his own YouTube channel.

I thought it was important that everyone know what this jackass is doing now. In essence he's declaring open war on  MGOBlog and I think he needs to be defunded but that can't happen if people are unaware of his tactics.

I only linked the video he was doing this in so people could see I wasn't lying about it. I wish I hadn't hot linked it but I couldn't go back and change that.

How do the outcomes of 3 games equate to a quadfecta instead of a trifecta?

Started watching EPL in 2020 when I was going through sports withdrawals. Watched the All or Nothing on Tottenham and then on Arsenal. No way I was going to be a Man U fan. I like Arteta, I like the Arsenal history, their yellow and blue away kits, I like their US ownership and Wrexham isn't in the EPL so...

Against the PSU secondary a dink and dunk strategy makes sense. JJ is still trying to get his touch back since off season shoulder surgery and he's looked off on the earlier deep balls. Next week should tell us a lot about the passing game facing a decent run D and a week pass D.

How can the final 4 include…

How can the final 4 include both UM and OSU? That means the CFP is going to pick a one loss B1G school over a one/no loss SEC team or no loss ACC? Skeptical that ever happens.

Nedeljcovic looked fantastic…

Husso/Nedeljcovic looked fantastic, offense/defense looks good and PK looks solid.

Worried about Bertuzzi though.

I wouldn't be surprised if…

I wouldn't be surprised if pollsters did either of those things and you're right the polls don't really matter except the CFP.

Clemson does seem to have surprisingly garnered some media support even though they play in a weak ass ACC. Looking at their schedule there's no remaining opponent that seems likely to knock them off.

If Jim is done flirting with the NFL we might get recruiting firing on all cylinders and have a shot at the upper tier.

It's also mentioned in the Michigan Monday:

Watching the replay of the game, FOX’s color commentator Joel Klatt mentioned a tell that Michigan has when they have motion. I don’t know how true that is, but it did make me want to chart some stuff, and I was reminded of Ohio State’s tendency to run the ball almost every time they were lined up in the pistol last year. So I decided to chart Michigan in the pistol. Then I broadened that to every snap that wasn’t under center.

Of the 11 snaps that I charted in the Pistol, all 11 were runs. More telling than that, of the 30 times that the Wolverines lined up in the shotgun with the running back’s depth even with the quarterback, Michigan threw the ball on 29 occasions. The lone running play saw the Wolverines backed up to the own 1-yard line.

Of the 17 snaps in shotgun where the running back is lined up off to the side and a step or so behind the quarterback, Michigan ran the ball 14 times. And the only three times they threw from that formation, the running back was to the right of the QB, keeping the ball visible to the defense the entire time.

You also need to factor in…

You also need to factor in what happened to coach Hart here. That was concerning for them I'm sure as Coach Hart is an important voice on this team. It's hard to refocus on the game right away after stuff like that happens.

They beat Northwestern (#98…

They beat Northwestern (#98 SP+) at home by only 10??

They moved Clemson ahead of…

They moved Clemson ahead of UM on a weekend where we beat Indiana on the road 31-10 (#84 SP+) and they beat BC on the road 31-3 (#94 SP+)??

WTF, how does this make sense??

I like Maize uniform more…

I like the Maize uniform more than I like white, the all blue are even better but the Maize & Blue uniform is obviously the best.

You don't have a problem with Maize do you??

Sure would like to seem them get something on video of JJ chucking it all over IU to make PSU/MSU/OSU worry.

...and then release it and let the magic begin.

Not sure I would…

Not sure I would characterize the gap between UM and OSU as "big" when OSU is #3 offense and #15 defense and UM is #6 offense and #17 defense.

Edit: I used the preseason numbers above. The current adjusted numbers show a bigger gap for offense with UM #6 and OSU #1 (UM 41.7 vs OSU 47.1)  but a closer gap for defense with UM #11 and OSU #8 (UM 16.8 vs OSU 16.2).

With their schedule I'm not sure they can get to 5 let alone 7 wins. They should be happy with bowl eligibility at this point.

As for those that say we should temper our sparty pile on, I say screw that we don't have to play them!

I bought a 65" Samsung ULED from Costco last fall. When I bought it I decided to use the onboard smart TV features instead of buying yet another Apple TV for it. After several months of having playback issues I bought the Apple TV and haven't had another problem since.

As you mention, with mobile…

As you mention, with mobile quarterbacks like Taulia, it's important to "minimize rush lanes" so they can't do a lot of damage with their legs. Taulia had 20 yards rushing on Saturday and with that has almost equaled his total yards for last season (77 yds 2021 vs 74 yds 2022) which puts him on pace for 222 yards for this season.

There aren't very many mobile quarterbacks like him on the remaining UM schedule. I suspect next week we'll see better pass rush metrics.

The only other QB's that UM will face that can scramble are Clifford and Thorne and they don't do it all that much (163/64 & 181/31 respectively).

It's still a little early to panic on the pass rush.

How can you say that about…

How can you say that about the coach that helped bring about our last national championship?? He may not have been ideal but he was good enough and certainly doesn't deserve your dismissal.

I think it's terrible that people are booing when Cade takes the field.

If you're booing quarterback coaching decisions, don't. It's too easy for the player to take it personally.

We should never be booing these kids. Vent on social media if you must but don't do it at the stadium.

You wanna boo pro players, knock yourself out.

I left room in my comment…

I left room in my comment for this possibility. Barring a collapse in the next two games McCarthy should start. And although UConn doesn't represent an upgrade to the level of competition, Maryland actually does.

Anyone paying attention knew…

Anyone paying attention knew it was only a matter of time before McCarthy overtook McNamara with that high ceiling. This outcome didn't surprise me at all, considering the competition, and I expect to see a similar outing against UConn. If he can play like this once the B1G season starts that should silence any doubters.

It's been 14 years and they…

It's been 14 years and they're still talking about it. Of course no one mentions they won the FCS the 3 years prior and moved to the FBS the year after.
