This may be our preferred work-around to NIL. We are not going to entice recruits with $$$. But we can sell our NFL development. Target high-ceiling players who have not realized their potential and mix them in with our more modest recruits with some occasional big-hitters.
Looking at UCLA beating USC this weekend. TCU dropping a game somewhere and that leaves Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee and OSU in the playoffs. Best ratings ever definitely means something.
Respectfully disagree. I think it looks more probable than not if TCU loses a game and the PAC 12 champ has two losses, the committee will come back with 2 SEC East and 2 Big Ten East teams for the playoff. Ratings would be through the roof for all games, regardless of who wins the semis.
This is a much better match-up for PSU. Bucks are a finesse team with great Wrs. PSU has great secondary players.
if they can keep it close and bounce Stroud off of his spot a few times, this will be a game. QB Happy Feet is a much different QB when it gets rougher. He is much more traditional QB and not prototype (ex. Hurts, Allen, Jackson)
When you look at it on a case by case basis, you really hope he turns it around and this is a teachable moment.
Unfortunately for our society, gun charges are often the first things prosecutors deal away. The penalty for carrying a gun while committing a crime (especially since he is a prohibited possessor) should be stiff as a deterrent.

However, is there ever gonna be a time when the “slowest white guy” joke is ever gonna get old and we finally retire the saying? Showing film of a guy getting beat because he is “slow and white” is a demeaning attempt at humor. He is getting beat because he is slower and probably less skilled. Saying it is because he is white demeans the athlete getting beat and also demeans the skill set of the athlete winning the battle. Attributing his win as somehow preordained due to his race and not the effort he has put in.

So to fix your delicate sensibilities how about this, ”Adrien Payne is an unindicted rapist…RIP”. Are you good with this?
This is why the Hall of Fame is a joke. Equating blatant cheating which affected performance with someone expressing constitutionally protected speech.
I think as long as Cincy wins we will most likely play them. I can’t see Alabama being seeded above them if they lose and Georgia probably slips to 2/3 if Bama wins.
I heard the process for picking numbers will be the following: 1. if a number is not taken, obviously the player can have it. 2. If two players chose the same number, the player who sees the field first on a game day will claim the number. 3. Gotta love everything being a competition.
Real as can be. It was a pretty eye opening experience. A lot of the board predictions are pretty accurate with what the coaches say. However, a lot of the background noise and chatter discussed by board "insiders" seemed to be less accurate and often inflamatory. Just my 2 cents.
you can take whatever you like, that is your choice. I'm just telling you that Johnson is a legitimate 5'11". Also, his height had nothing to do with ND. They just didn't click as well.
I may have broken some kind of record as being the Lurker with the most seniority (at least 13 years!). I finally broke down and created an account today after this weekend. I had the good fortune of meeting Jim Harbaugh on a recruiting vist. Saying he is a "great guy" would be an understatement. He was also very candid during the visit. I wouldn't want to ruin anyone's announcement by talking specifics, but he was very positive aboout our chances with the majority of the targets mentioned above. Go Blue!
