We've been back about 8 months. We miss LA don't get me wrong, but we were 20 years late (as far as affording anything).
Overall though it's quieter (my wife misses the car chases), but you could do a lot worse. I just wanted somewhere I could afford a house, have decent food, culture and (most important) waves to surf. The Lake is a fickle partner, but freshwater + no sharks is fun.
So we just did a similar thing (moved from LA), we settled just outside of Grand Rapids (Walker). I'm 35 minutes from Grand Haven/Holland so it's an easy day trip to the lake (important for surfing), but GR has enough to keep things interesting. Also, loads of trails for running.
I will say Traverse is lovely and Empire/Frankfort/Glen Arbor are fantastic in the summer (not sure what living up there would be like).
I think this is less about us sitting back and more about Iran having to get a goal all of a sudden. Honestly this favors us bc it opens up the counter. Its going to get more desperate...
We looked dead and that one td pass changed everything. Cornelius I will never doubt you again. JJ so many big plays, that 4th down gangster run had me screaming. Edwards with one hand getting big yards. Loveland with a massive TD. So many wonderful surprises!!

Slieve League. Everyone talks about the Cliffs of Moher and rightfully so, they are impressive. However, up north in county Donegal there lies a more impressive set of cliffs. It's a short hike to get there, but you won't be disappointed.
Yea outside of Spain, Germany, Japan, Costa Rica (sry New Zealand). They are all pretty fair. I don't really know how Wales (they will win the playoff) is a 4th bucket team, but you have to win hard games so bring it on.
I stand behind my statement. That 15 mins was disorganized, full of turnovers (no Jones) and full of CSU wide open 3s. Sure the Big 10 Tourney was gross, but they were competitive.
I’ll gladly join the boycott brigade. Genocide should never be acceptable. It’s insane how many corporations/countries are turning a blind eye bc of the money to be made.
Would be nice to inject some soul back into business. Yes make money but give a crap about people along the way.
