So far better. Langford walked and both Seiler and Langord advanced on a wild pitch. Runners at 2nd and 3rd no outs with the heart of the line up here. Need to punch at least one run home!
The City Connect uniforms look like something the Pistons would wear.
The Old English D cannot be improved upon. I am Ok with the alt jersey to celebrate Negro League Baseball and the uniform for Hispanic Heritage Nights but that's it.
For road jerseys I like the road greys they wore in the 68 World Series before the orange was added.
I’d respect Tim’s opinion more than Isaiah Hole’s. He was a big time recruit. His time in Ann Arbor was affected by injuries. It’s almost impossible to compare players from different eras as they play with and against different players with different rules, different equipment and different standards of officiating. All these players were great.
Actually the latter was not subjective. The disruptive activity was prohibited. The rules were made know to the people attending the ceremony. The University has power to make these rules and the first amendment does not permit the rule to be breached. The class of 24 was entitled to have the same experience that I had the same weekend 40 years before.
It's great that we got to watch them play before they became NHL stars. I remember the first time I saw Jacob Trouba play and knew he would have a career long after he left Ann Arbor. Same for Connor, Larkin and some of the others. Then there's Luke Glendening who I suspect may have even surprised himself.
Can't claim them because then Ohio would get to claim Joe Burrow and there are some Bengals fans on the board who want to pretend that Burrow has never seen Third Base let alone was on his roster.

A little bit of deja vu here. Looks like the first. A walk. Langford can't put down the bunt. A wild pitch. Hope for a better result here.
The damage was limited to one run. Scorer was generous in calling the miscue a double. Time to get it back.
They could have used Rudolph at Soldier Field on December 31, 1988
or Bruce Madej

Their identity is to load up the bases and hope the pitcher hits the guy at the plate so Third Base can walk on home.
This board would be empty if we didn't quibble - all in good fun most of the time.
The word flagship implies a superlative so of course there can be only one and we all know which one that is.
If it were a real Sparty plate something on it would have been misspelled.

There is a time, place and manner for these things. Yesterday morning in the Big House wasn't it.

They look rattled. I watch very little LAX but I haven't seen the zebras get involved as much as they have this evening.
10 - 7 after 3. I never thought I would catch myself watching lacrosse.
And goes up 7-6 even later in the 2nd. Go Blue!!
We would need a post for you if you entered the portal.
40 years for me too.

I don’t think they even had Sunday games back in the day.
Bad Ballparks:
Tropicana Field - I can't believe they still use it
Miller Park (or whatever they call it now) - Feels like you're in a stuffy building even with the roof open
Metrodome - I'm glad they put the baggie to rest. I've been there for football, baseball and basketball and it was bad for all three.
Anaheim Stadium (I was there when it was also used for football) - just ugly.
New Comiskey Park (or whatever they call it now) - it was sterile and the upper deck was too steep.
I think I've been to all of these but Tropicana Field. I've driven by Tropicana and know it is a dump.
Such much for Eli Brooks the second leading us to the final four.
Just like me

Every time you are near.
It's photoshopped. They wear a green hat.
Pretty good forecast. All but one of the likely 12 and 2 of the possibles. We should have had more because we are allowed to be biased.
Staee is tied with Texas A&M Commerce with one seventh rounder each. Never heard of Texas A&M Commerce before let alone knew they had a football team.
