What's the timeline for your parenting book being published?
"More is caught than taught" is a very true statement. I know for me, the doing WITH my dad taught me more than all the words that he said. Whether it was working on the car, house, or in ministry, WITH him was where I learned. Present and active parenting is becoming more and more scarce these days.
I did search for info on this from the board and it was from the old way of using the "rich text editor" or something along those lines. I appreciate the walkthrough.
I guess I should have used a different word than weird. I was implying that it will be weird to see a former player on the rivals sideline, not that it's weird for them to get jobs at rival schools. I missed out on my elaboration. I shouldn't post at 1am.
I guess being happy for his success is not the same thing as congratulations

The video is inverted. The Nike sign on his pants is backward, unless he's wearing some knockoff Nike's (no judgment here if he is). Crazy that the coaching/medical staff would allow him to play with that injury, especially this year. As a player, I'm sure he just wanted to stay on the field, so if that's the case, I appreciate his heart
Mine was also. I second-guessed wearing my Block M hat into the office that day when he said he was an OSU grad. Had in the back of my mind, that he was going to botch my surgery on purpose. The surgery went well. Still had to get 3 sperm counts and a more in-depth test, because of something like ancient or rare sperm.
For that to go uncalled when Michigan gets a garbage OPI on Collins would be tough to take if we had not reached a stage of serene acceptance about the meaningless of fleeting organic life in an unfathomably vast and ancient universe.
Time and time again, I appreciate your elegance, Brian
I saw it last night and thought it was a site update. I had forgotten that I added your extension to my home PC. I made a post last night (forgot to add META to the title), and looked like an idiot. Appreciate the work that you put into this
I posted below, but last night roughly 11pm PST there was an option while browsing on my desktop on Chrome to "Add to Troll Cave" under each comment. I missed adding META to the title (insert facepalm emoji)
I must have been in a weird dream last night, because I swear there was an "Add to Troll Cave" button in the comments section. I should have screenshot it, but I was more concerned with how to get a gif to imbed into my post
Having said that, I'm excited about Colin's future/present with the team. I'm really interested in what type of offense that JH is going to install. I'm not too read up on his philosophy on either end of the court. All I know is former players were motivated by him as a coach.
+1 for Google Fi. I'm in SoCal. Had Sprint unlimited before paying roughly $120 for two lines, paying for one of the phones on the plan. 2 lines on Google Fi and our bill is roughly $95 a month. Wifi at home, but not at work for me.
Fi runs specials on phones pretty often. If you're ok to switch to Android (lots of Apple fanboys out there), they have their non-premium phone, the Pixel 3a/3aXL for $400. One of the best cameras on the market, great battery life, pretty decent screen.
You can also bring your own phone (as long as it's unlocked). Android phones are obviously easier, but it's also compatible with most iPhones
Point Loma is beautiful - Cabrillo Monument, WWII guns/bunker, humbling cemetery, amazing views, tide pools below.
La Jolla is just as beautiful - kayaking is great, seal watching, "Taco Stand" with New York style pizza by the slice next store if you're not feeling like Mexican food
Old Town has some great Mexican restaurants also - Guadalajara (sometimes has mariachi too), Coyote Grill (the fresh tortillas)
Downtown and surrounding has some good spots for food, but with my wife and kids, we are normally doing fast casual. Shake Shack, Slaters 50/50 (if you love bacon) or Hoddads for burgers, Crack Shack for fried chicken. Donut Bar for donuts obviously. Salt and Straw in Little Italy has amazing ice cream.
Balboa Park is a great spot to spend the day. A few free museums/galleries and other great paid ones.
Glad I didn't spend $300+ to take my 6-year-old boys to their first Michigan basketball game. That would not have been what I wanted for their first memory of a live Michigan game. They did have to deal with me screaming my head off in frustration though, so I'm not for sure which would have been worse
I'm in my early 30s, and we have 4 kids also, with the oldest being identical twin boys and the youngest a year old. My wife had to have an emergency C-section with the twins since they were about 5 weeks early. No local hospitals do VBACs, so the next two deliveries were C-section also. She developed rheumatoid arthritis after the twin's birth and I didn't want to add any more strain to her already strained body, so we decided on a vasectomy. I'm scheduled for my pre-op visit this Friday also. We both would love to have more children, but there's no way I'm putting her through the physical struggles that are caused from carrying a baby, delivering a baby and having to recover from surgery. In the long run, we are just happy to have the opportunity to raise children, as not all that want to are able to.
Gotcha. Thought it was weird seeing him listening in to the coaches and then never running the drill. This is the first year I actually watched some of the combine, normally it's just the highlights

Brian is hands-down my favorite writer, not just MGoBlog, but any sports journalism.
It is rarely a time, that I don't do the latter, finish his column immediately in one sitting.

I'm from SoCal, but was in Valdosta on a business trip. Drove past it and thought it was a JC.

Still haven't figured out the embed tweet function ?
Side note: I have Drexel winning it all...
I did a mascot bracket with my middle school students and our final four was
UCSB Gauchos vs FSU Seminoles
Texas Tech Red Raiders vs Drexel Dragons
They had the Dragons fireballing the Argentinian cowboy in the Final
Thank you for educating me on more than just NLI
Who is this…
"Roll it"
Who is this meant for? Are there coaches scrolling through Instagram looking for this content? ?
Maybe he forgot to cross his T
That is, if we're talking about Wor(t)hy...

Recovery sucked, but the snip-snip was successful

Ok, I'm not crazy...well maybe a little, but not for this reason

META...
I feel like we're right in stride with our moderation around here
Woah Nelly, the tropical flavor box beats out the lemon and lime flavors all day long
The way it's titled, I thought that Iowa was going to run some crazy new defense
I wouldn't put Giannis in the insanely wiry category; that's more reserved for the Tayshaun Princes of this world.

…
Your last sentence got me.
"a guy to watch in JH's offense"
We've been waiting for that all season, then I forgot we were talking basketball

I thought that was a subtle MSU joke at first
And I should have scrolled one more comment down ??♂️
According to an outside source, they count as jorts
RIP Vine
Do they still have the same value ratio to Schrute Bucks?
Equal to the ratio of unicorns to leprechauns?

Also if you want some other insane marathons movies, here's a couple on the Barkley Marathon.
I think I actually found out about them through a board post

Free Solo was great, although it gave me some vertigo with those camera shots.

Spruce Street Suspension Bridge is a quick little spot to see near Balboa https://www.google.com/maps/place/Spruce+Street+Suspension+Bridge/@32.7387001,-117.1654075,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xfe4155c2352097?sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjf1K6DprThAhWBFjQIHYzKDuQQ_BIwD3oECA8QCA
If you don't feel like walking, there are "Bird", "Lime" and "Lyft" scooters to rent all over the place.
San Diego is easily my favorite California city
Do you have any money left after all the therapy they have needed?

Any reason for him not to run the other RB drills? Catching and cutting drills
Did he pull a muscle doing the other measurables?
Note to thread jack, but any reason why Karan isn't running the RB drills?
He was there, but not running. Did I miss a big injury update?
