I purchased a manual BMW M3 in 2018. I had been driving SUVs for the past 4/5 years and forgot how nice it is to actually drive. But I appreciate that many people just want safety, practicality, reliability, blah, blah and blah on their way from A to B.
Thanks Magnus! Are Robin(son) and Ransom a package deal or just taking visits together? Quite the punny combo of names; would hate to see them split up (although sounds like Robinson is trending Stanford).
Went to Pacific Rim for an anniversary dinner recently, and it was excellent. Cheaper than Chop House (which I also love), but equally good food. They also have booths that are conducive to a romantic vibe; just ask when reserving.
Ok, but a new car is not an investment and should not be characterized as such. Treat it as an expense, kind of like food. Sometimes folks want lobster, and a lot of it. (Me, justifying blowing money on vehicles.)
Do you actually like it? I wouldn't get too wrapped up in the AWD thing. Modern AWD and 4WD systems should be sufficient for most drivers' winter needs, especially with winter tires. (You should have winter tires.)
It's my first, and I may become a lifer, though I can't speak to pre-2014s. I love it. It has a decent amount of cargo space with easily folding seats. It's very capable in snow, even on all seasons. It's stylish. The ride is comfortable, and it's fairly agile.
The only problem I've had is with the gear selector. There was the huge recall on that, and it was responsible for some deaths. The design was atrocious, but it was fixed through a software update. The UConnect system can be a bit laggy at times. Other than that, I have zero complaints. Be advised, the GC has a unique, upright driver's position, and it may take some getting used to. It felt a bit weird when I first test drove it. But once you're used to it, it's actually really nice.
Agree with this completely. When I was a kid, I loved the GTI, and I couldn't understand why anyone would buy a more expensive car. "Just buy the GTI and put the rest of the money in sick mods. Duh."
End of 2017: another Grand Cherokee (ideally an SRT, used, if the significant other would be ok with driving it daily)
Early 2018: New BMW M2, 2015+ M3, new Audi S4 or the new Audi RS3. I can't decide if I want AWD. I loved my old A4 S-Line (B7), and wouldn't midn another Audi. The M2 is the only coupe I am considering, but am open to good suggestions.
Short-sighted. Jacoby understands well what aspects of Jalen's personality make for the best listen, and he asks the right questions and provides the right input to encourage that.
Logged in to say No Thai. Categorize it how you want, but it needs to be mentioned. It's the best completely Americanized Thai food that money can buy.
So the pain and fragmentation caused by slavery will finally have an impact strong enough, within some 100 years, to finally drive the country apart? And yet an actual civil war could not? And yet Jim Crow could not? And yet segregation, race riots, etc. could not?
That doesn't make sense at all. The disconnect between our "shared values and beliefs", the "mutual hostility and distrust" and the "vastly different experiences" have not changed from this country was started, and perhaps have lessened. What you're seeing today, though, is an inability for a white majority to hide within its own comforts while avoiding those difficult realities, thanks to the widespread availability of cameras (smartphones) and an omnipresent platform on which to share those experiences (social media). You're being forced to publically confront these issues; it's not that these issues are new.
Punitive cancelation fees might be void, but there's nothing wrong with a separate payment of $2,000,000 to cancel an existing contract. That payment functions as a separate, valid contract.
When I was learning to drive in my mom's minivan, I switched lanes in front of an old pickup truck. He must have thought I cut him off (I swear I didn't). Anywho, he ended up speeding up to catch up to us and then threw a handful of rocks at our van. While this story is an unfortunate, all-too-common scenario of road rage, the weirdest part of this story is that the guy HAD A HANDFUL OF ROCKS IN HIS CAR, JUST READY TO BE THROWN?

I agree with your post, but I don't see the resemblance between Mattison and Cumberbatch... (Ar-n-ol-da jokes just great. Sorry for posting this.)
Or Alfa Romeo: fancy with tons of potential, but also broken.
Many say that was the best generation of M3. Ahh, that color too!

I prefer Devin Bush in linebacker form. Sad!
May be a long shot, but consider your credit card's travel insurance.

To be fair, most modern training incorporates the bases of Crossfit.

I want to like this, but can't. Styling is off. The doors are not the right size. It's weird. Do not want.

Love this. An American (I'm assuming you're not European) who appreciates hot hatches and wagons.

I doubt I'll get my way, but I'll try.

2) C'mon man.. these players aren't raising their fists espousing black supremacy, they're raising their fists seeking black equality.
