I’m a new fan! That new iPhone/apple pay commercial that’s been airing all tournament (with the dude in the flea market) using their “Back Pocket” song has been so in my head that I googled the band out of curiosity and found they’re Michigan music school grads! So much Michigan awesome this week.
Any one know where the michigan side will be? I took an educated guess and bought in section 207 just now. Purdue has had the bench on that side for both their games and looking good against PSU, so i figured their fans would be over there... I have no idea if that's an actual reason but it works in my head.
It'll probably be heavy Michigan crowd anyways. Very excited!
I have an extra ticket to our game tomorrow. It's in one of the Michigan sections (section 110) in the lower bowl. I'll likely be going alone if I can't give this ticket away. If a fellow alum or fan in the NYC area wants to join me, let me know.
I'm from Fishers as well but about 10 years older. I'm still close with a lot of the teachers from our high school (HSE) and they all have nothing but wonderful things to say about his time there and his character. Just a great all around kid. I'm so proud of him and I don't even know him! Get it done in Indy, Zak!
Obviously don't want us to lose, but part of me prefers the 6 seed over the 5 seed because of the 5-12 matchup hoodoo. My superstitions are rational! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Lol anyone notice that vendor with the "kettle corn $9" sign? Gotta rob a bank just to get the kids some game snacks these days. I'm also cheap, so there's that.
Is Ohio state really a lock over penn state? Head to head win and some hardware is quite the argument. They can justify it but herbie keeps saying it's a lock. I just don't get it.
For what it's worth with me being a random lady on the internet, I'm friends with a Speight family friend and they think he's going to play. Hoping he's good to go!
That's interesting! That makes sense. I was always impressed with my HD atennna when I was a cord cutter but we could only get one channel to come through when we moved, so we caved and switched back to cable. I wonder what happens to the picture through cable companies with certain networks.
Weird I've always thought the Fox game broadcasts were lower quality than the other broadcasters. Not sure. Maybe it's my provider. I have Optimum out here for cable. Would be interesting to hear if others have differences.
I mean there's no way they lose to Rutgers right? It would be incredible but I just don't see it so probably won't want to watch it for very long. I've seen more unexpected things happen though... this week. WHO KNOWS
Wondered several times! But also had terror visions of Brady Hoke almost losing to the same quality of UConn team a few years ago. Basically I had a lot of feelings watching that game.
I just got home from tonight's Temple v UConn game. Got some cheap tickets and was something fun to do on a Friday night. Yikes, I can't wait to cleanse my palate with some Michigan football tomorrow. This game was awful.
Hotel coffee right now. In Austin for work so I'm trying to figure out if I want to hit up one of the Austin alumni bars or be lame and watch BTN2go on my iPad and get some work done.
Yeah it's like a cobblestone. Hokie Stone is a big part of Va Tech's campus. Most (if not all?) of their buildings have a Hokie stone facade. I actually don't mind weird jerseys if they tie in school history or traditions. https://www.vt.edu/about/traditions/hokie-stone.html
Clemson just dropped the ball while celebrating before getting to the end zone. Troy guy picked it up with without realizing for a touchback. Hilarious! Troy hanging with Clemson.
Met some Aussies in my travels this summer from Queensland, and they said American football is getting really popular down there to play. Their teenage sons play in pretty competitive full contact youth leagues. They call it "gridiron" to not confuse it with the other footballs they play which I loved. Not sure if it's as popular in Sydney, but looks like a good crowd there. Wouldn't be surprised if more teams play a game there in the future.
My point was that she is from Michigan and is already passionate about other Michigan sports teams. It's likely not an accident that she's wearing a Michigan shirt. If she was a Sparty fan, i'd imagine she might put up a fight since costumes aren't that meaningful unless it's a big part of her character that she went to Michigan.
She is from Michigan and huge Red Wings fan. I never knew what her school allegiances were until I saw this show promo because there's no way she'd wear that if she didn't sort of like Michigan right?

I did say free. Game is at 2:30pm so if you're serious and can make it, let me know your email and i'll send you a note!
No trolling detected. I wasn't sure about making a separate thread about it, but i'll definitely give it a shot.
I'm also one of those silly vegans (personal choice). I've never felt better.
