How about calling plays/scheming for the players talent? OL was bad last year, but asking them hold blocks for 8-12 seconds was completly unrealistic and falls on the coaches
1) Its a risk not taking a DT this class right? Same applied to only taking one OT considering Hayes is said to be playing TE. I understand we took a large class in 2017, but still.
2) Was the main recruiting issue this class because we lost Coach Wheatley and the coaching turnover? This staff knows how to identify talent but the organization is very troubling considering the salaries of the staff.

What are these candidates' stances on NIL?
I've read Warde is the one holding things back. Is a money cannon expected if they are hired? We are 100% sure?
So its time to question Moore hiring?
People keep bashing him because he is a "continuity hire"
I keep seeing "contingency plan" or "continuity plan". Is this from Balas and On3?
Specifically, how did Warde not support Moore?
I really like the Edwards/Mulling/Hall backfield.
Pumped for Hall...his brief action this year and spring game looks like has all the intangibles.
Good things come to those who wait.
OMG those pictures!
OMG Rod Moore and dline!
Thank you, Brian and everyone!!
Go blue forever!!!
Enjoy!!!!!
Well said, Brian!
100%
I'm not watching or listening to that.
But curious how Michigan can be dominated?
Keep up the good work Balas

Have you thought about developing lineman?

Looking way ahead
The CB depth comment is troubling with Washington being a playoff possible match-up. Washington throws all over the place.
Gattis was big last year in the passing game. I think the staff needs someone with passing design experience.
I will be subscribing to Action Network.
In certain situations, I want to bet against public/money. Knowing the different book lines will be key.
Go Blue!!!!
Thanks for sharing. Quick question, where do you gather this info from?
The class is not complete yet.
97 first round pick Trevor Pryce started off at Michigan before transferring to Clemson. He was in the NFL for over 10 years.
Wide open but I am going with Iowa. They are usually good every 4 years and have two potential first round picks.
Marick is J'marick Woods.
On top of that. David Ojabo also ran a sub 11 second 100 meter. This class is going to be loaded.
PSU cannot stop the run and not a great tackling team
UM is going to very motivated from last year
Great player. Good news seems players are coming back strong from achilles.
His pick six ruined my under wager. haha
MSU always plays their best game against UM and they have a top rush defense. They sell out to stop the run.
With that being said, will UM continually attempt to run Higdon up the middle? It's exactly what MSU wants you to do.
Really like that Oklahoma St. vs Kansas game
Some games that caught my eye
West Virginia at Texas Tech under 75
Southern Miss at Auburn: Southern Miss +27
Crazy stat but Mcsorley hasn't lost a home game.
I feel like OSU should win this game easily, but at night on the road I am not really sure.
Players just doesn't make winning plays. Has been going on for 3 years. Players are in the right position they just miss the play.
ND at night on the road is tough. But UM looked eerily similar to last year.
Let's hope for major improvement in the next 5 weeks.
Let's Go!
Great to see the early praise of Vincent Gray. One thing you could take from his high school film is that he is physical.
PFF had Soloman rated as UM's #17th best player last year and played starter snaps the 4 games. Will he improve year 2? Have to think he will.
Dwumfour has got to be able to win his one on one battles. Hopefully all his hype is real. In his third year.
Difficult not to be excited about this team after listening to both.
TE's - Bigger, faster, stronger
DB's - Hill, Long, B Wat ready to go. Also named Bry
Perry was hurt during the Spring.
Martin is going to push him for pt this year. Will be an interesting positional battle.
Thank you Moe!!!
Beautiful letter!
Watching the head to head tape it looks like DeJulius is a little taller than Loyer. Can anyone confirm this?
No reason to be a dick. What does it mean to you?
Its certantly a privledge given...
Michigan Football has standards that havnt been met in about 15 years. The program has zero execuses not to be successful.
Facilities, coaches salaries, and trips to Europe come with high expectations.
People are negatve because they hungry for a quality team.
Completly agree. Since we enjoy throwing around money, why not pouch an elite recruiter as an assistant coach? Bama tried with Partridge...

Brian was all over it. Great stuff.
I have a couple of questions about the class:
1) Its a risk not taking a DT this class right? Same applied to only taking one OT considering Hayes is said to be playing TE. I understand we took a large class in 2017, but still.
2) Was the main recruiting issue this class because we lost Coach Wheatley and the coaching turnover? This staff knows how to identify talent but the organization is very troubling considering the salaries of the staff.
Double post
Hopefully Bunting will be used in the redzone whereever he ends up.
Two blatant trips. NO CALL.
Next year as a rebuild? Explain.
Michigan with 6 fumbles lost in all of 2016...
has been wasting elite defenses.
That was one of the worst games I've ever watched from a UM perspective.Props to MSU.
I love Harbuagh.
BUT
This offense has cost us Iowa, OSU, MSU this year. Is it gameplan, players, or it just me? All I know is Bak Mei King Fu.
Great writer. He has a good point about Winovich possibly wearing down. Trust our coaches!
This UCLA team is extremly bad. Their defense avoids contact and cannot tackle. Great combination.
