Grew up in Oakland County, no one in my house went to college, but my neighbor was an alum, and took me and his son (my friend) to many games at the Big House starting at 6 years old in 1985. From the moment I stepped into the Big House, I was hooked, and continue to be. 

I joined the Army and used the GI Bill to attend Northern Michigan Univ. I still go to the Big House, now with my kids, and will forever remain a Walmart Wolverine, proudly! 

I now live outside of Philly, and work at Villanova, but my allegiance remains.

It was during the 2010 season, a very forgettable one, but I needed to know that I was not the only one freaking out about our football team at the time. I joined right after the Iowa loss that year, and I had severe BPONE, angst and whatever else you want to call it. I wasn't sure we would ever climb out of that hole. Thank you to everyone on here who provides candor, insight, thoughts, and more than anything a community in which I rely upon daily. GO BLUE

1997, deployed to Bosnia with an Infantry unit, and my squad leader let me listen to the game on AFN, which was one of the greatest sports moments in my life. I remember screaming when Woodson returned the punt, and the folks around me thought I was a bit off. One of my many great memories of the game. 

This year we took our two boys to their first version of the game, and it did not disappoint. We experienced every emotion, and stayed long after the final whistle to soak it all in . Go Blue! 

I love Mike Barrett, he has been everything we needed at times, he has thrown the ball, made game-changing tackles, and interceptions, plus he was the one responsible for creating the internet. Truly a Michigan man!

The three players invited to NYC for the Heisman are all players on our D. 

After reading all of these, it seems like PSU is going to be a real tough matchup for us on the road this season.

Football is always a great topic - Recruiting, roster analysis, coaching changes and the implications of those changes, but in my opinion, I think a semi-regular recruiting update would be well received. 

That was awesome, we even had subs! I took my boys and we really enjoyed it. 

My 7-year-old and I have watched it twice so far... we watched it 5 times last year, probably more this time around! Go Blue!
