Only problem with teaching…

Only problem with teaching in Ontario is nobody ever quits and its near impossible to find a job out of University. Had a couple friends with teaching degrees who had to ultimately settle for factory work as teaching openings were non existent.

If you find Randy Marsh offensive you probably shouldnt be on the internet.

All I remember from that era…

All I remember from that era is how long it took to recruit in dynasty mode. Truly thought they had streamlined Dynasty by '14 to run smoothly and not take too much time out of game.

You needed to upgrade to 14, still have a Wolverine on the corner !

Ghost of Tsushima is an…

Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing game. You definitely will not be disappointed in picking that one up.

In fact the John Wick director has gotten on board to make a Ghost of Tsushima movie. Video game shows/movies have come a long way the last decade or so, so I think that will ultimately be pretty decent.

Im caught up in Fallout…

Im caught up in Fallout fever since the, absolutely amazing couldnt recommend it enough, show aired. I never played any of the games post New Vegas so Im working on Fallout 4 right now. Game looks and plays well with the next-gen update. Unless you want to play windowed mode, where the largest resolution is still only half of my monitor lol.

Jimmy Carr. Not sure if they…

Jimmy Carr. Not sure if they invited him to this one but Carr is a great roaster and walks that over the top offensive line really, really well. I think he has a far better delivery and sense of timing than Jeselnik too.

I actually envy him for…

I actually envy him for having never heard of Bert. He is the hackest of hack comedians. I think Segura just keeps him around since you can endlessly make fun of him and he doesnt really get it.

Im not sure how one writes a speech while on an ayahuasca trip. Ill give him credit for that.

I also kinda hate how its become synonymous with that douche Aaron Rodgers. Ayahuasca has been an integral part of tribes philosophy, theology, & general way of life for hundreds of years. And A a ron is just a big caucasian douchebag.

Creepy Robby Craft being off limits was a big disappointment.

Wow so youre trying to say she is too unattractive to take sexually harassing her seriously. You're kind of a special piece of shit now arent ya?

If school has taught me anything its that all you need to protect yourself during a tornado is to hold a text book over your head. Boom, danger averted.

At this point why not just fire the guy and go find a journalist who is allowed to be around women. I know, i know its a crazy notion.

Pretty much every single…

Pretty much every single best line in the LoTR films was delivered by Bernard Hill as Theoden. Every couple months I go watch my favorite scenes from the trilogy on yt and they almost all involve him.

"Duty? No. I would have you smile again, not grieve for those whose time has come. You shall live to see these days renewed. No more despair."

"Ryan Day has taken a step back from day-to-day coaching to focus more on fundraising"

Smart move here. Weve seen what Ryan Day's coaching leads Ohio to.

Also, how does one listen to…

Also, how does one listen to the radio these days? Outside of my car I dont actually have any device that picks up radio stations. I suppose they probably have apps you can download on the phone and stream through a speaker?

My problem with weekday sports is I kind of watch them on my own time. Just have the DVR record them all and play the recording when I have some free time or want some background noise.

I don't think Dusty May has…

I don't think Dusty May has much, if anything, to do with the exact terminology of an instagram post. I think its far more likely whoever threw the graphic together went with the term forward than the head basketball coach sitting him down and telling him the exact designation and role he sees for Wolf.

You realize every time you…

You realize every time you threaten to leave they lower the price you have to pay though, right? You may have to waste a couple hours a year on it but calling and threatening to leave your cable provider will lower your bill substantially.

I feel like the floor is a NIT squad minus catastrophic injuries. This is a remarkable turnaround from where the program was a month ago.

DeJean to the Lions would…

DeJean to the Lions would work for me. I wouldnt be as ecstatic as some fans would be for it I dont think though. He definitely isn't a full time CB for a team trying to play press man; which is the only reason he has a shot to fall to 29. But I think he could be an all pro as a FS with the versatility to play a couple different secondary spots if need be.

SpotHero is a great little…

SpotHero is a great little app for going to bigger cities during events. It will show you a lot of parking lots, some I never thought of/knew about as a Detroiter, with prices and you can reserve and pay for on app. Everything is on a map grid so its a great to way to compare parking prices and snag a spot in the general area you want.

It would be about a 1.5 mile walk (QLine is in the area) but you typically can find free street parking further up Woodward, a bit north of Little Caesars arena. The side streets between Woodward & John R and street parking on John R itself are free and typically available. I was able to find a spot there during the Thanksgiving Parade for the Lions game that afternoon and there were a looooot of people downtown that day.

Get there a smidge earlier…

Get there a smidge earlier than planned and go walk around the casino for 20 minutes, throw a few dollars onto a slot machine then head off. I have a friend who does this on event days as I believe they want the parking to be for people playing at the casino -- so if you do a little quick gamble you qualify as.

I get what youre saying but…

I get what youre saying but I will believe Michigan will consistently call read option plays (where the QB keeping is actually an option) and designed QB runs when I see it.

You can't sit him on the bench for two seasons or he won't be here for the third. If he can come onto the court and knock down some open looks I think hell see time as a freshman. He would have probably played 15-20mpg on last years guard-less roster.

I got my Michigan stuff off…

I got my Michigan stuff off fanatics with a free shipping code. But they charged handling separately. Im sorry but I dont think Ive seen shipping & handling separated with their own individual charges ever. What a shady hustle.

As a year long draft…

As a year long draft follower it sure is exciting to be drafting to make a championship run as opposed to trying to restock the coffers. Hasn't happened much (ever) in my life as a Lions fan.

Ive been banging the Newton drum for two years and the fact the Lions actually may be able to get him without a trade up blows my mind. Hes been the best interior pass rusher in the NCAA the last two seasons and Im so very thankful he didnt participate in predraft stuff. PFF still has him as a top 15 prospect but most everyone else has him slipping into the mid to late 20s.

I think DeJean is this class' best safety. Thats why he has a shot to slide down to the Lions pick. His athleticism really shines in zone coverage but when pressed into man to man those hips sure look stiff. But considering the Lions currently have 3 safeties on the roster and none are really proven that would be just fine.

Ive already told a friend I will eat a lemon if the Lions draft at pick 29. As you said Holmes wheels and deals. If someone he really likes falls into the low to mid 20's I can certainly see a trade up. That said, outside of a major slip, the prospects in the 25-50 range don't really appear to be separated by much. This is a seriously deep draft.

Personally I really like Kneeland at 61. Seems like a legitimate 3 down lineman who also possesses further pass rush upside. With a surely Campbell approved motor. Holmes did really reiterated at the combine how the offensive line is the calling card of the Lions though. We possess the oldest line in the league. I will be surprised if we leave this draft with less than 2 OL drafted.

Cant wait for draft week!

SLC is a less than exciting…

SLC is a less than exciting place to be. And their airport is way too big.

It seems quite unlikely that…

It seems quite unlikely that we add another 10 scholarship players this offseason. I don't get why people seem so worried about Jace here on a scholarship for one more season; it isnt costing us anything.

About fucking time.

About fucking time.

I'll never forget how much…

I'll never forget how much Michigan fans wrote off Eli Brooks after his first two years. Basically non stop negativity for years... and Eli then became one of the most important players on our team for multiple seasons.

Don't write off freshman and don't pay mind to jaded asshole fans.

Certainly a selling point to…

Certainly a selling point to recruits !

Maybe he was a good X's & O…

Maybe he was a good X's & O's coach back in the day. But that day has long gone out the window. Kentucky barely even runs an offense and just tries to out athlete everyone, all the time.

Ive been enjoying Benetti. Good sense of humor and makes C Mo have to break his script and think/laugh often. Loved when they were going around razzing coats in the crowd at the Mets game yesterday.

Tschetter's floor seems to be as a solid rotation player so Ill certainly take that on the roster.

Id keep an eye on transfers out of Oklahoma State as well since we hired their former coach Boymton/Boynton.

A lot of people are really, really high on Nabers. Him being drafted ahead of MHJ would certainly be a surprise but probably not as big of one as a lot of fans would think it were.
