ohio state guys on Twitter are saying he had to lobby Day for his job during their coaching purge. So maybe he’s bitter or maybe they’re saying stuff to cope
Caleb Downs unfollowed Ohio State on IG and Michigan football followed him. He also removed “Columbus OH” from his bio. This all happened after Keon Sabb left.
Hopefully but Harbaugh said they were 55/45 run/pass last year and he’d like to be 50/50 this year. So a 5% increase of ~65 plays is about 3-4 more passes a game.
I went to the Rose Bowl for a UCLA-Washington night game during the Austin Seferian-Jenkins era. It was….ok. Driving through the housing development to the golf course parking sucked. Walking from the golf course was annoying. The food concourse was eh. The actual stadium was old but nice. Great sight lines. And the weather was perfect.
He was the guy who could’ve benefited from the long form storytelling WWE has changed over to. They dropped the ball with the Uncle Howdy story but he was close to coming back for one more shot.
I would love to replace Sparty with Minnesota. A clean physical rivalry where we deploy our NIL’d roster of 150 defensive linemen to go up against their double teams
Maryland in the 4th week is a problem. They just added Jacob Copeland from Florida he was a top 70 recruit. Their WR corps is as good as it gets save Ohio State
He's the greatest coach ever. Truth is, we have no idea how good coaches are except with what Brian shows us in UFR, Seth in Neck Sharpies, and what few posters with coaching experience share with us.

This sent me down a rabbit hole of Alex Boone telling Jim Harbaugh stories:

Offense needs to wake up aka CAN JJ PLEASE KEEP
hot take: our punter was better
Agreed but also, and hear me out, Fuck Ryan Day he’s a piece of shit
When they lost 35-21 to Virginia Tech in 2014. THE BEAR DEFENSE. Then they housed Bama and won the natty

I think Harbaugh clarified that comment as being about both Grant and Graham

RIP, gone way too soon.

He said Eamonn Dennis is DJ Turner fast. Maybe Eamonn is the new AJ Henning/Eddie McDoom end around and return guy
I didn’t realize how starved I was for Brian’s writing until I started reading his offense preview

This has to be a Michigan only thing because I never thought of Sparty as a rival. It was Ohio and Notre Dame and now I feel it’s Ohio and Penn State.
Buckeyes: Scary Terry and Chris Spielman
Power move by Locks. This is Jay signing Nas
I was at that game and we had two Notre Dame fans standing behind us. I kept turning around to ask them “why are you here”
Then they left in the 3rd qtr. I still feel bad about that.
Ace bent over backwards to always agree with Brian, whereas Seth brings his own conclusions to the conversation.
Spencer and Sam Webb had the two best rants this weekend
”…your fascist auditorium that you call a stadium”
Agreed, and Bryan
If we’re talking about analyst/consultant for a year I’d want Scott Frost
Ohio state don’t want none of this
They put a star on him and talked him up as a potential first round pick! CJ seems like a B+ WR, but maybe he’s off to a slow start
Waiting for MGoBlog to start

The amount of cringey puns on this board is only outdone by the annoying spelling corrections.
Did OSU Florida or Sparty offer? I just see us and CMU
On a Tori Amos message board in 2000. That pesky Y2K couldn’t stop our hormones
This is…this is the best. I love my life

I see needs at QB and RB. Otherwise I think we look set elsewhere.
this is an informative post and it made me sad.
I always thought this was a “peak in November” strategy. Just like I always thought not running the QB was a save it for Ohio State thing. ?
It’s a play on Scott Steiner’s promo. Nolen’s going blue!
This was a great write up Seth
Part II: Larry Foote and Charles Woodson, lets go
a year ago I wanted either Warriors or Red Wolves now I'm good with the uni's and keeping it the way it is.
living in Maryland we only got to watch the OTs. Still a great all timer for me as well .
My choice, 2008 Capitol One Bowl. Henne shredded that Freshman Florida secondary and we got to see Urban lose.
Cam McGrone, WFT. We need LBs

Michigan is not a great football program. Expect 7-4 and be surprised if the team surpasses that
are we saving the obvious counters for PSU/OSU?
that last sentence applies to Lane Kiffin and Doug Nussmier
that still speaks to the program and coaching. Is OSU or Wisconsin dead because they lose 1 WR and 1 CB?
There is always an exit strategy gentleman. For us, I mean. You know what I’m talking about.
I love this series, thanks BiSB
