Depends on how many teams will value talent over positional need in the first round. Peppers is a freak athlete and definitely usable all over the field but he has no true position yet. That scares away more teams, mainly because teams want a for sure starter with that first pick. If a team falls in love with him and has a clear plan in mind for him then he could go. but if a team sees him as a safety; they may pass on him for a safety with less raw ability, but more experience playing the position.
I agree with this. It seems like a pride thing at this point. We had him and lost him, now we want to prove we can win these recruiting battles with the deep south
Drevno's contract formation and the hiring of Frey and Pep seem to definitely say Harbaugh wants him to seek a HC position soon. Harbaugh seems like a guy who actively helps his assistant coaches succeed and move up the ladder, even if it is elsewhere
This is the type of thing anyone trying to justify losing would say. If you win games, you win the Championship. It is easy as that. The refs are a different discussion... but there is nothing wrong with having a Championship based on who wins the most. kinda how the world works
I was flying all day and would miss the game so I recorded it and invoked a media blackout. I touch down and grab a bite to eat and as I am leaving someone stops me and tells me how sorry he is for that game. I had my michigan sweatshirt on. dread filled me. I could never have expected that though. even my Ohio state friends texted me and apologized for such a depressing finish

I am not sure young men getting arrested should be considered as "great"...college allegiance be damned.
