I think what bothers me most here is that Warde doesnt seem to be getting pressure from above. I'm not a fan of mob mentality either....but there's a long list of raise your eyebrow moments on his watch. I'll give him credit to not succumbing to the witch-hunt after the 2020 season, but he's got to do better to go all in to keep this thing going. and his bosses need to make him feel that pressure......coom-by-ya we just won a natty isn't gonna get it done. The game has changed, and we need to change as an athletic department to keep up!
I thought the same thing......this was always about making sure the SEC was represented and not the four "best" teams. I truly beleive if Georgia had won it would have been 1) Georgia 2) Michigan 3) Washington 4) FSU.....

I turned off notifications on my iphone and will not click on their content.....so many other outlets to get what i need for updates and info. I hope that Michigan treats them the same way if Gameday wants to come to AA on 11/25. I'm all Big Noon from here on out.....
So basically, if lawyering up is in Michigan's favor to win an injunction why in the world would Pettiti go down that path other than showing his true colors as a weak leader and cowering to the pitchfork crowd......very sad....
LEaving the BIG seems like crazy talk to me.....but....if the ACC was an option is a Michigan option enough to open media rights re-negotiation between the ACC and ESPN that are locked up currently thru 2035? How nuts would that be and it would be so ironic to see how ESPN could potentially change their tune on the Michigan narrative....
Jim Harbaugh is the best coach this program has ever had and you could argue the best we could have in the foreseeable future. Love him or hate him....does it the right way, with class and consistent results. I hope he can get that Natty to cement that legacy!

Very well said.....judgement is hard thing for people to admit and acknowledge. We all do it without even knowing it. My father in law said something to me about spending money when i first started dating his daughter almost 30 years ago. He said its not so much about the cost of things but the "value" you get out of said things and what that value means to you. I think your story sums that up. Happy Holidays and Go Blue!
We are seeing the Fox/ ESPN battles lines being drawn with BIG vs SEC for viewership begin already......and I'm OK with it. So tired of ESPN and their self serving narratives.
Geez, I'm all for student -athlete freedom but seems to be moving in the wrong direction. Whats bad is only going to get worse with today's generation of players. What's after the wild wild west?
Hey I agree with you but I still think he's on the leaderboard. That highlight tape was pretty awesome but it only really showed all of the great plays....of which there were many. I'm not sure there is another player in the last 25 years that had as many explosive plays as Denard.
That said and what the highlight tape does'nt show is all of the 3 and outs and negative yard to no gain plays of which there were many. Denard was hard to not like...the smile was infectious. Glad he is back on the staff.
I'll agree with the referres....they were abysmal and one sided. I thought the announcing was fair though. You could see they wanted to see Michigan play better in the 1st period, and when they did in the second they acknowledged the fact that they did. Also acknowledged aggressive attack in OT which I think we dominated and had great chances.
When two guys do flyby's on a puck in your own zone it usually leads to disaster....and it did.
I watched more women's college basketball this than ever before and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of play. I'm hooked. This team was fun to watch and clear that KBA is a great coach and leader. Looking forward to see some of the new names contribute and the program evolve.
I really wish there wasn't such a long layoff....this team is hot and peaking. Would be great to play this weekend, but i know its about TV and eyeballs, and you cant compete with basketball.
Bury them early....take away the pressure and their desire early and it will be a great Michigan outcome. Lets not make this more than it needs to be, right?!
Mel's last sentence says it all.....none of these players want to play in empty arenas and most will take their chances in hostile enviroments where there is lots of juice in the air. Who knows if we had this system the last 20 years do we have another natty...or two? The talent has been there for sure.

I look at it this way (and it seems to be something Michigan fans forget)...if the NFL comes calling after the 22 or 23 seasons than it means more than likely we had something to celebrate. That's a good thing! If he he can overcome negative recruiting with his honesty than i guess I'll take the tradeoff!
Agreed...just want the drama to be over. Anything Harbaugh gets clicks and usually painted in a negative tone. Both Michigan and Harbaugh need to be aware of that and avoid dragging things out as best they can in the future.....if at all possible and i know thats a big IF!.
That said per the JUB tweet storm this morning isn't this set up for failure with the Vikings from the onset if there is a minority ownership who just don't want JH around? Seems like a recipe for failure....why would either side willingly pursue this any further?
If he doesn't get an offer than Warde needs to update the Michigan offer to a market rate ( we can argue what that is) and it needs to include a big fat buyout to avoid these NFL dalliances in the future.....just my 2 cents.
