I’m not sure I understand…

I’m not sure I understand this - if we aren’t allowed to have fans, obviously no one will count that against the attendance record. If we do have games, coming off 6 months of no sports, I’m quite confident the enthusiasm will be there.

Darion Green-Warren and our…

Darion Green-Warren and our other commits have already signed their letters of intent (all signs show that Green-Warren chose us, but that is to be determined), so they would need to transfer and forego a year of eligibility if they were blindsided by Partridge leaving. We've heard nothing of the like so far, so it appears recruits were in the know.

Rudock and Luck still…

Rudock and Luck still happened, Shea being a disappointment doesn’t erase the past. We’ve had an unlucky run at QB performances. If anything it’s incredible we got out of Shea what we did

Also, Fleck lost and got out coached in by far his biggest game of the season, and Venebles has never been a head coach. Harbaugh has his flaws but this fan base is losing its fucking mind

Michigan is 7th in SP+ in…

Michigan is 7th in SP+ in the 2015-19 stretch, which is better than any Michigan coach since Bo. Fuck off with this

Well, they were an inch from…

Well, they were an inch from going to the big ten championship game in 2016. I know that’s a while ago but the negativity of this fan base is insane.

This was a well coached game and we were a quarterback away from beating one of the best teams in the country

In summary: What the fuck?

In summary: What the fuck?

The offense showed huge…

The offense showed huge problems in the Army game, none of them have been fixed. None of them probably will be fixed. Regressing from ~ top 30 in SP+ last year to not even being in the top 60 this year is absolutely mind boggling.

Don Brown should receive credit for a great performance and mixing in a ton of zone today. But this offense can’t compete for a big ten title.

I don't think Nordin…

I don't think Nordin necessarily has more raw talent. Moody by everything we've seen so far has as strong of a leg.

He has already received the…

He has already received the official OC title.

I’m not even sure what the…

I’m not even sure what the basis is for having him providing input Sunday-Friday. It’s not like our gameplans were great and the play calling was the one downfall of the offense. This also creates a weird Frey/Drevno like power struggle where one coach on the staff has to rescind power to another and we all know how that has gone recently.

By not picking up on obvious…

By not picking up on obvious sarcasm, you've ousted yourself as a troll. Congrats!

Yes, those are pictures…

Yes, those are pictures taken from a visit, it’d be quite easy to edit and send them over to Dax once he let the coaching staff know he was committed.

John Beilein has saved my Michigan fandom sanity more times than I can count. Please coach here forever.

If Notre Dame loses we get a sad rose bowl bid

Alabama will not get into…

Alabama will not get into the playoff over us if they lose to Georgia and we are a one loss B1G champion. It simply won't happen. They only got in over OSU last year because they had two losses.

There is zero chance an…

There is zero chance an undefeated Notre Dame gets left out. Bama would be left out in this scenario.

I'm visiting Aretha Franklin…

I'm visiting Aretha Franklin's grave to remind her it's spelled d-i-s-r-e-s-p-e-k

I went into this video…

I went into this video thinking it must have been some mistake/lack of communication between the two, but no. The ref is standing directly in Devin's face forcing him to leave his spot of alignment AFTER he is set. Is there any standard for that to ever happen? If there's no excuse for this it should easily result in a suspension for the referee.

Ace basically stated at the…

Ace basically stated at the beginning of this article that Watson was behind Ambry when he said "here's another featuring the now fourth corner back" which listed a chart with Watson on it, and Seth listed Ambry in front of Watson on his list of Cb's. I think they may be making the predictions for the end of the season, not what the current depth chart is.

I would be very surprised if…

I would be very surprised if Watson is not ahead of Ambry to start the season. Watson stole reps from Long all of last year and Ambry is largely unproven.

I'll disagree with you on…

I'll disagree with you on the Freep comparison, the article just reported the quote from Harris, it didn't seem to draw/infer any conclusions from it.

I had a lot of high hopes for Harris when he committed. Watching that state championship game vs. St.Mary's I thought he was going to be an incredible player here. Hope he does well for WMU.

What the fuck has happened…

What the fuck has happened to this board

Have had the exact same…

Have had the exact same problem too.

Personally, I think…

Personally, I think Baumgardner is a good beat writer. I think his criticisms of the program are misinterpreted as him being a sparty slappy only because he went to school there - overall he seems pretty neutral.

Jemele Hill is an MSU grad…

Jemele Hill is an MSU grad that works at ESPN. She was tweeting about Speight's quotes about Harbaugh disliking chicken, and how it makes her hate Harbaugh more. O'Korn liked that tweet.

We all need football to start.

TL;DR

John O'Korn liked a tweet by Jemele Hill bashing Harbaugh. When called out for it, John O'Korn responded with "It's not the program or the school that we don't like", implying that he either does not like Harbaugh or he does not like the fan base. Given the context, this seems to be referring to Harbaugh.

Possibility that Turner is…

Possibility that Turner is announcing an Under Armour/Army All American game as well I’d assume?

Going from ~ 100th to 6th is…

Going from ~ 100th to 6th is a pretty big jump. Saying Peters is "starter quality" is a bit of a stretch after what we saw last year. I'm hesitant of anyone who couldn't beat out O'Korn for the backup position.

Ramos is absolutely known…

Ramos is absolutely known for dirty play. He is the most carded player in La Liga history.

Lewis in the interview with

Lewis in the interview with Sam states "I never had the production that Hill and Long did, and Ambry is on his way". So he was giving love to Long, for what it's worth.

Grant Perry was not passed,

Grant Perry was not passed, he was injured at the beginning of spring. Martin will be a very good player, but Perry was far and away our best receiver last year - I’d be shocked if he isn’t a starter.

Arsenal’s ceiling next year

Arsenal’s ceiling next year isn’t winning the league, but should be to compete for a top 4. They have the attacking talent, just need to tighten up their defense/midfield in the transfer window, and get a goalkeeper. They don’t need a huge signing, just a few players of quality, though with Kroenke being reluctant to give any funds, I have doubts that will happen.

I’m also not convinced Man U are seemingly back quite yet. Pogba could very well leave and has a terrible relationship with Mourinho. Sanchez and Lukaku were in poor form to end the year. De Gea and their defense are great, but they struggled to score goals even with that attacking talent, and I’m not sure Mourinho’s style fits their players.

With reports just a day ago

With reports just a day ago saying that they were ready to announce Arteta, this just seems like a shit show from Gazidis. I’m not disappointed in the hire, but I’m disappointed in how it seems this was not at all their top choice.

There is absolutely still an

There is absolutely still an emphasis on the game. It just seems like there’s not because we lose every fucking year.

You’ve won 1 trophy since 91

You’ve won 1 trophy since 91 and your best player will be sold within 2 years.

Outside the top 6? To who,

Outside the top 6? To who, Burnley? The only squad in the Premier League with more points in home games was City, by a whopping 3 points. This Arsenal team is not in a position to compete for a title, but they’re in position to compete for a top 4 if they tighten up the defense and away performances.

I would figure we’re almost

I would figure we’re almost guaranteed to get one of Duke/North Carolina/Virginia out of that challenge, who are all projected Top 10 teams.

Look at the size of this lad.

Look at the size of this lad. Absolute unit

I wasn't direct, but was

I wasn't direct, but was making the point that the teams of today are far too good for anyone to come in and dominate more than Lebron has. I don't think Jordan would be far off if he was on a team in the East, but saying he would be demonstrably superior to LJ is crazy.

If anything this again shows

If anything this again shows competency at the position. After last year, we'll take that as a base and hope for more.

Players today are light years

Players today are light years more athletic than they were even 15 years ago. The game has changed in terms of spacing, three point shooting and stretch bigs that absolutely zero teams from that era would be able to adapt to. The Warriors would defeat any Jordan championship team in 5 games TOPS.

A common defense to this argument is that players of the modern day game wouldn't be able to adapt to the physicality of the 80's/90's rules - which brings me back to the point that players of today's game are stronger and more athletic than ever before. Physicality would not be an issue in the slightest.

I mean, that's not true.

I mean, that's not true. Having only three scholarship Qb's, two of which are freshman, is an issue. Will they be fine anyway because they're ridiculously talented? Probably. But that doesn't mean they aren't thin at Qb. There's a reason Meyer was making this out to be a competition this whole time - not because he was ever going to start Burrow, but because he wanted him to stay for depth.

The list is terrible, and

The list is terrible, and there's truly no point in ranking the qb's this early. What this list does show is that there are very few standout returning quarterbacks this year - Jake Browning, Jake Fromm and Trace McSorley are about it.

I know PTSD has set in after last year's catostrophe on offense, but Jim Harbaugh was widely considered the best QB coach in football when he came to michigan - not just college, but NFL too. Give me the #1 QB in the 2016 class under the best QB coach in football to finish at least top 5 when the season is finished.

I fall back on the fact that

I fall back on the fact that Harbaugh has the track record of being a fantastic offensive coach. Just like you though I'm still confused about the bowl game - the gameplan still seems so inexplicable to me.

Concentrating on what we're

Concentrating on what we're good at, and an additional year of experience for our best offensive players will do wonders for this offense. The OSU game showed that this staff (especially Harbaugh) is capable of outstanding gameplans when done right.

I do agree with most of the

I do agree with most of the list, but have a feeling both DPJ and Black will end up as more important players than either tight end. Hell, I think both Higdon/Evans will be more important as well.

Sitting in the student

Sitting in the student section 10 rows up at the front of the end zone for the blocked punt against MSU - right where the touchdown was scored. Was a living nightmare. The entire section was dead silent and all you could hear were the cheers of the MSU players. When they began taunting us by running over to the student section wall and screaming at us is when we left.

We’ve got our first “All or

We’ve got our first “All or Nothing” truther on the board!!

It was the first game that I

It was the first game that I began truly questioning what in the hell this offensive staff was doing. The first few games I chalked up to being young and inexperienced - but to come out with that performance after a bye against a rival was despicable.

Was really hoping the spring

Was really hoping the spring game happened anyway so the team might learn that throwing 80 times in a rainstorm is bad
