They’re big, but I can guarantee their bigs aren’t used to being pulled out of the lane like they will be against us. Will be interesting to see how much playing time Teske gets and how Moe plays on D. If we can get their bigs in foul trouble early, I like our chances a lot. Zavier is due for a good game.
1792 is a really inexpensive, good bourbon. Jefferson reserve is delicious, as is basil Hayden, larceny, four roses, and of course Breckinridge. Alllllll delicious!!!
Is a fan now, just like us. He wants his university to perform up to the standards he knows they should. Just like all of us, I’m sure he’s sure frustrated and his emotions prolly got the best of him.
I know this isn’t high school, but I watched a ton of his games back then. He made all the throws, the short, the mid and the long throws. He was money all the time. Idk where his arm has gone?
And say perhaps he knows this team is super young. Perhaps he knew this season would be a struggle. Perhaps he is trying to be as positive as possible for these guys? Idk? That’s my guess. I get what you’re saying, and I miss that fire he had, and like you I have noticed it not there for whatever reason. Regardless, he is paid a ton of money to turn things around and he better start figuring things out offensively... or there are gonna be some very angry people. Wasting another championship defense because our offense can’t score 14 points. Embarrassing.
Not to be super negative, but horizontal play calling and not checking out of an all out blitz is where I can't take it anymore!! Throw the god damn ball up for your two WR's to make plays. Why do we have tap ass receivers? To block?! I don't get it?!
Agree with some other posters. This year, play calling has been so horrible. Idk what happened, but it seems like their is no rhythm at all. It's very random and sporadic. It's irritating.
Yes. Was great to see some younger guys get some PT in a big game. Bunting had a good showing, other than whiffing on a few blocks. Future is bright. Although the season took a turn none of us wanted, we all have to be realistic. Two years ago we were 5-7 and the team looked lost, with no direction or optimism in sight. Let's all try to remember that, and compare to where we are now.
Very much so. Don't think all of these guys super high on Michigan just randomly scheduled commitment days one after another during the dead period. Harbaugh knows what he's doing.
All of these commitments were set up for a reason. I do not believe all these guys super high on Michigan set their commitment dates randomly, there's a reason for it. Today was the first chip to fall... would be shocked if Michigan didn't get DPJ, Wilson, Ruiz and Anthony.
5 stars in high school don't always transition into 5 stars on the field in college. I trust Harbaugh and co in their evaluations. Don't get caught up in the star gazing guys. We have a lot of talent coming in as well. On paper is much different than on the field.
This class is unreal that Ohio is putting together. We still are +1 in coaching, I truly believe that. Ohio will always rely on athletic ability, not so much scheme or knowledge of the game and I think the players that were drafted into the NFL are good examples of this. Scheme will outsmart athletes, scheme with athletes will topple pure athletes. Don't hate, just look forward to great games with Ohio.
My point is that his offense is based upon shooters. It's not about stacking the rim or getting to the line. The lack of inside game shows up against any good team. When we can't shoot the lights out (South Carolina game, and 2nd half last night) we will lose. His teams have always been that way. Yes, he has had good teams, but here, at Michigan, he had one good year, surrounded by years of mediocrity. His one good year came on the back of McGary. Amazing what a big man with a post game can do!!! Shocking!
As long as Coach B is here we will never get to the line more than our opponents. I think he's a good coach, great in terms of developing players, but I cannot stand the offense he runs. I've never liked it, never will. Relying on jump shots night in and night out will never create a great team. You'll be an inconsistent team, one that will be hot one night and cold the next.
I understand fully your argument against Michigan getting into the CFP but I wholeheartedly disagree. The reason to take the computers out of it and bring in humans are for various reasons, but the main one was the eye test. Michigan is by far one of the four best teams in America. The College Football Playoff should get the four best teams to play each other or else we have a 41-0 drubbing in a playoff game, a la MSU/Alabama. I truly hope we get in and prove we belong. Here's to wishful thinking. *Cheers*
Yes, we are playing Hawaii. But, I like we came out like a team that should own the opponent and we are doing that. After MSU and Tennessee, this is nice to see.
Can't help but agree with this statement. I get he recruits kids for the system he runs, but I can't stand his system. We need slasher. We need guys that will play with emotion and let it all hang out. These types of guys he offers are far from that.
