I was at The Game in Columbus for all years from 2004 through 2022. I agree with him about 2006. 2022 was close for me as a Michigan fan but I think most OSU fans viewed 2021 as a aberration and were overly confident about the 2022 Buckeyes similar to how I felt about the 2018 Wolverines. 2006 was extraordinarily high excitement and anticipation for both sides.
I knew our season would be rough when Andover lost to Groves in the first game of 1987. Sure enough, the Barons finished 0-9 that year. Winning doesn't come easy, even against Lahser, Groves and Seaholm, when your left guard is 6'0", 180lbs.
Somewhere in my basement lies a box with 5-10 packs of unopened 1992 M Basketball cards (Fab Five freshman season) and a handful of Shaq rookie cards. I likely missed the top of the market on both of these. Perhaps my future grandchildren will be able to trade them for something of more value to them.
Preach child of dragons! Khary "the Lloyd Carr Tunnel made me do it" Crump has entered the transfer portal. I can't think of a better poster child for the Spartan bad apple purge than Gemon Green's assailant.
Anytime is a good time to laugh at your little brother. When little brother only has 72 of 85 football scholarship spots filled (assuming no return to sender portal athletes), you're absolutely laughing at him and not with him.
I guess the old woman (i.e. Dennis) was too busy looking for filth and being repressed by the violence inherent in the system and wasn't paying attention to hoops.
I remember 2004 being the first of my nine consecutive trips to Columbus for The Game. Thank goodness the good guys finally won in 2022 and I no longer feel obligated to make that biannual trip.
Username checks out. I was 10 years old staying up way past my bedtime watching on a black & white TV in my bedroom. The B&W TV was for when me or my siblings were sick. I must have smuggled it into my room as I don’t remember being sick.

Your love for Groves knows no bounds. Go Barons, beat the Falcons!
Jaden, not Jaren. Jaren Mangham (RB) left MSU for Minnesota. Jaren’s brother Jaden (S) is the MSU DB visiting Michigan, Nebraska and OSU.
Fire the money cannon.
I think it’s easier to carry a helmet on your head than to carry both a stick and helmet in one hand while shaking hands with the other hand.
PSU players just want to get off the field ASAP while the Wolverines bask in the glory of a championship won in Columbus.

Is Jaden’s brother Dylan any good?
The portal transfer ranking only scores transfers in and transfers out don’t impact that score.
Sparty is at 17 and counting since 4/15. Transfer Portal - MSU
You’ll need to keep upvoting yourself if you expect to have any points by June.
If only there were a Spring Game thread (or two) where I could express my thoughts about a football scrimmage.
Let’s go Red Wings!
Clap, clap . . . clap, clap, clap.
Warm in the winter, cool in the summer. Where can I get some of these wool teeth of which you speak?
Trophy comes before the pride.
I checked the tape and heard “for God sakes” rather than “for God’s sake”; hence the (sic) notation.

Close the gap between #1 and #2 in all time program wins; one game at a time boys. Go Blue!
Thanks for decoding! I figured this was another Ghost of JG post. My money was on Openly Wisconsinesque.
Is that you, Steve Jobs?

As a lax parent, this forecast is the norm for spring sports in the Mitten. Go Blue!
From midnight toker to midafternoon toker in the blink of an eye.
Pfft, this ain’t the olympics. No bronze medal, no consolation match.

While I have flown from DTW to ALB, I was never on that route with any hockey team.

USA! USA! USA!
This! Michigan players actually do come to Ann Arbor to play both football and school.
Who cares? Not these guys and football is really all that maters relative to Sparty.
Fun time sitting next to Gavin Brindley’s aunt and uncle at LCA.
Boys take the ice.
Interesting that the nicknames are from very different given name of Don (football coach) and Winston (game show host).
I’m guessing the yips are back in his golf game.
Wink, Clink, SMASH!
As a glorified spreadsheet jockey, I prefer automatic Excel.
