There are some interesting takes here. After many times thinking it was Harbaugh being old and meddling, I’m starting to lean towards a collective issue. For all the preaching of speed in space, I certainly don’t see the opportunity for even “slow in space”. Nor do I see explosiveness from receivers, tenacity from running backs or decisiveness from quarterbacks. That falls on the whole coaching staff at the same time. Although players aren’t exempt from criticism, I think it’s weak that players quit during a game and the leaders on the team don’t take over leadership.
Surprised it took this long for someone to remember Evans won the "team combine" running backs 40 @ mid-4.6. That is slow for a D1 rb. A quick googling shows Chrisitian Turner's PR for a 100m was 11.65 in high school. He is also not a top-end burner. Corum's PR for a 100m was 11.35. Anything slower than a 10.8 in the 100 does not instill confidence as being a burner in D1. No lightning in this backfield.
Henning and Wilson coming in with PR's of 10.6 in the 100 do show elite D1 speed for the WR position.
This is it. A quick read by the QB will tell him if it's man or zone by the shifts, if any/how far/by whom, on defense.
There will be, generally, an open "zone" pass and an open "man" pass. Depending on the front seven set up there could also be an initial run option off of it.
Your last line reminds me of what my dad told me one time... I said something under my breath about someone being slow or bad at their job and my dad looked at me and said "if everyone could do your job, you wouldn't have it." Really woke me up to reality.
Or it gives the players the experience of playing a college game at night.... before playing a ranked team at night. You know, however one wishes to look at it.
I get your point but they get massive flooding from horrendous spring storms and hurricanes and tornados....and kids go to Ohio State. Otherwise kids would be FLOCKING to San Diego State and Hawaii
Living in the North, got kind of used to rust. I know a few guys who do body work that have had success with por15 but I personally leave the fine finishings to them. I'm built for power not finesse!
I would have to agree with you, I think there is too much old money wrapped up in oil here in the states to see this realistically happen in my lifetime.
I think what will be real interesting is the landscape of transportation as a whole once countries start banning the sale of new gas/diesel vehicles. I think I saw Britain was 2040 and without looking at Google I thought I just heard another country had issued a target date as well.
They're pushing for zero emissions. I don't think we've seen the technology yet for that to be implemented on a world scale.
Plus gas prices and the world's economy....it's gonna be crazy for sure
It really is unfortunate because the handful of guys looking for a profit or a mancave show-off do kind of make it weird for the many kids that actually think it's the coolest thing in the world
There is already something of this nature. It's called flag football. Nationals are in Orlando, or at least used to be when I played. It's been about 10 years, but I can assure you it is not the money maker you think it is.
I never understood this sentiment. Rooting FOR the Big10. I don't root for the rest of the AL Central , I don't root for the whole AFC East, why would I root for the teams that have an active interest in me losing the rest of the season?
I enjoy great games regardless of who's playing, but rooting FOR? No.
2017 Iowa and 2018 Purdue curb stomped Ohio State....
There are 85 players on every team. Not all players see the field. To say every player on Ohio State, Bama, Georgia, Clemson is an NFL-ready 5* talent is very untrue.

ARE YOU SUGGESTING WE DO SOMETHING RADICAL SO THEY REMEMBER US?!?
Clearly it’s /s but I’m afraid /s is lost on many these days

I’m going back to drinking now.
Would be awkward if he's flipping while his avatar has him dressed in wolverine...

Smh at these internet coaches....
You hit on some good points.

Pretty sure there is nothing you can't run through when this song is on 10. One must use this song wisely.
AdBlock add-on if you use Samsung Internet works well for me
"ANybody know how to decals and bumpers for helmet locally in the area?"
What part didn't you understand?!?!

So was Boubacar Cissoko!
I know it's petty... But thank you for using "couldn't care less" properly
How does your title compare to your first line?
Gelatinous gravy. Hell yeah!
Well they have 5 players going to Africa...they had others go elsewhere in the world.
Either way it's pretty cool that athletes of any school have this opportunity to do this. I too like the pettiness, all in good fun.

Unfortunately my employer heavily frowns upon this recreational activity. Luckily they don't say anything about cruisin MgoBlog!
Have fun!

This will never get read, but 3 kids later and coming up on my mid30s....one of my top 10 purchases in my life
I think 7/85= ~8%, not 12%. Unless I'm reading your numbers wrong?

Ok I Googled the other countries banning as well.

Best players play in the super bowl, not the pro bowl!

Brady Hoke did not win "big" in the MAC.

Michigan camping meet-up?!?! I'll bring the gravy.
I'm just here for the gravy.
Google wouldn't even let me see if there was a Sydney, Austria... I'm guessing there may not be?

Couldn't you say the same about Warriner?
It is a business. It is about money. It's unfortunate for fans but I still put my pants on one leg at a time and go on about my day.
Or…
Baba de chee baba
Or however you spell the sounds that come out if my mouth when I watch that movie with the kids...
A few weeks ago I had 2018 vision. Right now, it's 2019. Maybe next year I'll have 2020

This. He's definitely getting drafted so go get paid to get better in the NFL.

The *social media* fanbase
For every armchair coach, there is a normal fan. Let's not go generalizing that every Michigan fan is insufferable.
I swear I read twin smokers and said to myself "ooh that sounds like fun" haha

I can hear the "Mooooooook" or "Cooooooooop" crowd chants already
Like many on this board, we were there. Not being seen or heard. Just silently scrolling and judging.
Well I'm just glad I'm not the only one... Although when I'm drinking I usually make the decision to eat greasy food
This. If you look at the picture posted, it's captioned with "here's a look at some designs sent to recruits throughout the cycle"
Did you just answer yourself?
I…
Maybe just one ounce?
I mean you did open the post and comment on it? Lol

What offensive coordinator do we target this off-season?
You have to click the chain looking button to add a clickable hyperlink. Then a box will pop up and you can import your link in that box on mobile.
