Best of luck to a true Michigan man. Loved watching this guy play the last few years. Always seemed to come through in the biggest moments. I've said a few times I feel like he's the Sainristill of the hockey program. Will be very tough to replace.
After I was leaving the field on Saturday, I hear a voice asking me if I needed a hand up the wall. I look up and I see Jewish Jesus Mr Seth Fisher helping my wife up over the wall. The biggest smile on his face and tears in his eyes. I don't know if I've met someone as passionate about this team as he is.
Yeah it blows my mind how many dads talk about the show at a crazy young age and buy stupid expensive gear that will be outgrown in a year. Funny it's never the top kids that have all of that stuff. I'm just along for the ride and loving every minute.
It's also mainly skills that if you don't learn at a young age, it's real tough. Ojabos that take up the sport in their mid-teens are incredibly rare in hockey
Crazy hockey dad here. between my 6 and 4 year olds we usually have 10-12 icetimes per week and also do a backyard rink in the winter. I'd say I'll likely drop about $10K this year. God knows what that will be when they get older.
I should mention that I'm not pushing them, they love the game and my 4 year old will often cry when he finds out he doesn't have hockey that day. Insert Canadian joke here
Mad respect guys. I remember making a comment on a video posted recently on this site saying that your analysis after the Penn State game. Props to owning up.
If I may offer some constructive criticism, you may want to further evaluate your "M's run game is all about the big play narrative." This is likely more of a function of how D's play them as opposed to their game. Early in the year, Iowa played them straight up and got just murdered up and down the field for 5-6 yards a pop. After that game, teams started crashing safeties to the LOS, resulting in shorter down-to-down plays, but big plays when they were broken. This was most obvious in Illinois, OSU and Penn State games.

Best of luck in the show Marshall!
Also, who was the "insider" that said pretty much the whole crew was coming back?

Robbie Avila from Indiana State just entered the portal. Would love to go after him.
A man of honor. Unfortunately, my mother now has us both beat. When I texted her to tell her the news, this was her response:
"Do you have an address for the flowers? or should I send gloves?"

you’ve also restored my faith in people born on Dec 25th given that the 2 I currently know off the top of my head are Trudeau and my mother-in-law…

Couldn't agree more with your last sentence.

Who is this Charlie Jones you speak of? I only know Chuck Sizzzzzle

runners were a bad choice
Anyone that was at the cold-ass game against Illinois last year is well aware of Ryan Walters
Amazing news. Seeing these stories reminds me how trivial our “problems” are with knowing what the finger wiggles from Mr 3rd base mean.
