Doing our part today. 9…

Doing our part today. 9 friends and family and majority are wolverine fans although we have a Spartan, domer and even a bucknut. Pursuit of organic meet and the stories bring us all together. My wife got a 7 and 2 buddies took 10 points. Great year for deer and our Wolverines. I actually found a great buddy when i was an undergrad in A2 in the 80’s. Spent more than one Saturday with headphones listening to games.

Good luck to o all and stay safe!

Thank you!

We are better…

Thank you!

We are better today then yesterday and we will be better tomorrow than today. This is a process.

And in the meantime this season was a lot of fun. The only reason this hurt is expectations were too high going in and the pain has been so long but you are right. This is FAR from the worst I've felt after a game. It's frustrating that we are not as far along as we thought but we are closing the gap. Sometime 18-21 yr olds get caught up in momentum in the college game and the score gets out of hand. We handled that with Northwestern. We couldn't handle it here against a team that was playing for their pride. We will get back. Just wasn't quite yet.

It is Great to be a Michigan Wolverine and it always will be. Sometimes that comes with the agony of defeat.

Go Eddies!!

Go Eddies!!

Sitting in a tree stand now…

Sitting in a tree stand now. No better way to pass the day then nature, Mgoblog and then Meechigan football!

Moar Mo Geh Blau! Mo ist ausgezeichnicht!!!
Swag, Subs and a Poole Party!

Who's got it better than us?

NOBODY!

China too I’m currently in Shanghai and have seen stories on CNN and BBC. Also spoke to some Americans from Iowa here about it. Brings home this isn’t just a thing in Michigan.

An incident is different than a culture that lets this go on for years potentially across multiple sports.
I miss muppets It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine! Go Blue!
Agree

Great points.

The only thing to add is that in addition they are normally not starting all new players each year. It is an exception with truly great athletes that start early in their careers there. And when they do they are surrounded by people that have been in the system for multiple years in a system that has not changed in years.

Curious if Georgia had turnover or is their improvement based on another year's experience for the players.

We had a young team across the board that that were all learning. Every year in fall camp you hear that defense always progresses faster than the offense as the offense has to develop timing. Timing is based on everyone knowing what they should do. Our last interception of the year said we were still learing what to do.

It's hard for any quarterback to develop timing with receiving core when they are not confident that the player will even be where they expect. If they hesitate for a fraction of a second to verify what they see the window is closed.

Key point in all of this is that getting more and better quarterbacks will provide more options and more competition that wil improve The Team, The Team, The Team. It doesn't matter who.

PS: Perkins, you just provided a point to add onto. Not really a reply.

Better now

They are better at this point in their career. Can't say you could call them better than Sr's Darboh and Chesson but as Freshmen they are. By year end did they approach that level? Don't think so but that's what sports blog's live to debate.

Better Better today than yesterday!

Here’s to getting better tomorrow (or later today) as well!!
Speight or receivers? I saw multiple instances where he did OK under pressure.

To me he's late on throws because he's not confident his receivers will be in the right spot or will be looking back. Many overthrows look more like throw-aways today.

Seems the chemistry isn't there yet. That takes time with an inexperienced offensive squad.
Agreed Young team making mistakes and taking penalties and they play tight. Most overthows i saw today looked more loike throw aways. Offense is just taking time to get in sync.
Kolesar was awesome

That play is my greatest Michigan football memory.

Sitting in the student section and watching that play develop right into us. The stadium exploding when eveeryone realized what was happening. Having grown up in the shadow of the golden dome, ND was the big rivalry for me. At that moment I truly understood OSU and why we HAVE to beat them.

Tuition vs Room and Board

Would be interested to see breakdown between tuition and room and board. When I was in A2 in the late 80's I had great need based scholarships that made it possible to attend UofM even though my parents couldn't pay nor could I.

The other thing I remember at the time was that Room and Board was not cheap so although this sounds good I'm not sure if this is marketing or really something different.

Free is good regardless but if it's only tuition it only cover 1/2 or 1/3 of the cost. Would be interested to see that breakdown.

First - Thanks for building the app and keeping it running.

Just a note in case it helps - I can't see the app in IOS 10 under Settings - Notifications. It shows up with the rest of the apps on the main screen but not under notifications.

This clearly flipped me from frustrated to giddy. Awesome! This clearly flipped me from frustrated to giddy. Awesome!
