Of course no one really knows, but I'd say Clark will do really well in the WNBA because she'll have a full roster of good teammates. This will let her elite skill--passing--really shine and the teammates will be much better finishers. She also won't have to dominate the ball as much and play 40 minutes a game. If she plays 20-30 minutes and doesn't have to shoot every other time down the floor, she might actually be able to play a little defense too.
Let me tell you 'bout Wayne and his deals of cocaine
A little more every day

I went to the 2007 game and I can tell you what not to do during the game. Don't run zone left 4,000 times in the first half and then not make any halftime adjustments and run zone left 4,000 more times in the second half.
Stretch is only a problem if you let it be. This was OSU practice, since they're the most Stretch team on the horizon, and I have to imagine they weren't that pass defense-crazy over Kaliakmanis.
Are you saying that the way we played Minny--keeping our LBs in coverage instead of firing into the OZ gaps--is what we'll do against OSU (i.e., this was practice for OSU)? Or that we'll do something different against OSU (i.e., we wanted to see how one thing would work against Minny but against OSU we'll do something else)?
I ask because if we keep our LBs in coverage, won't OSU just punish us for that in the way that Minny did? Like, what is the counter to OZ that would allow us to limit gains but also keep our LBs in coverage? Or maybe I'm completely missing your point.
Even watching it live I couldn't figure out why the DEs were dropping into the flats so much while the DBs were playing with so much outside leverage. It seems like those should work more in tandem, but I guess it also seems like that should be pretty easy to fix, either the zone drops or the leverage of the DBs.
True, but in the moment it seemed like Stewart (I think?) was really dogging it getting off the field. I don't think refs are obliged to hold the snap if a player isn't hustling, but I have no idea if that's actually in the rule book.
I couldn't find it on the interwebs, but my memory is that she once said something to the effect of "Catholic priests shouldn't comment on people's sex lives for two reasons: one is that they don't have sex. The other is that they do."
My first exposure to Juneteenth was in, uh, June, of 1991. My fiancee and I had just moved to DC and were looking for something to do on a weekend. We saw in the City Paper (probably) that there was this thing called a "Juneteenth" celebration in Anacostia SE.
So we drove across the river, parked at a park (probably Anacostia Park, although I don't remember specifically), and witnessed a fucking awesome celebratory festival. We had no idea of the cultural significance of Juneteenth, nor the bad rep of Anacostia, but we had a ball and felt totally welcomed and glad to be witnesses to so much joy.
If you have a dead body on you, you are a very large and terrifying person. Or you are dead yourself, in which case you may be in a Schrödinger's Cat type of situation.
He wasn't and you didn't. Not only are they in the WCF this year, you didn't even mention the NBA championship from all the way back in 2020. LeBron haters gonna LeBron hate, I guess.
Questions for those in the know, from personal experience or otherwise:
Given that there isn't a game of any sort (baseball, maybe?), what happens on these "off-cycle" visit weekends? Just a lot of meetings and touring and eating and such? (let's keep it clean, people--this is a family blog).
Relatedly, why would recruits choose these off-cycle weekends as their OV weekends? What do they tend to like about them? Is it simply a matter of fitting UM into their schedules, or is there some other reason to choose this kind of weekend?
But what if I want precisely what I want precisely when I want it regardless of who else it affects? Isn't that my right as an American? Prove me wrong.

TBF, it seems like the Partridge injury was self-inflicted. By Partridge.
12-0 for a third straight season?

Pretty good, but the beard doesn't look nearly fake enough.
I forget, is it "you are the wind beneath my wings" back, or "take that and rewind it" back?
Assuming Ludacris got the flow that make your booty go smack, natch.

Seth, can you elaborate on this:

I initially read this as a "lolwutger" which seems to work also.

I think it won't be until the 12 team playoff that that ticks down below 10.
Anybody remember these from the 1970s?

A shiny nickel for anyone who caught Brian's de rigueur Smiths reference.
Some absolutely elite names on the Lithuanian squad, including Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Vaidas Kariniauskas.
Question for MGoChicagoans: didn't One-Handed Pupating Edwards open for Five Finger Death Punch at the Empty Bottle in like 2008 or 2009?
I had an old cassette of Sticky Fingers without any track listings.
Mick garbles "can't you hear me knocking" so badly that I never had any idea what it was. I just kept singing "canna nama lovin'" or something.
Years later I got the actual record and was like ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that makes more sense.

The French pronunciation also works better paired with "ennui," i.e., "ohn-REE" and "on-WEE."

The Grizz have the 45th and 56th picks. That would seem appropriate for several reasons.
It's Rudddock.
