The comment was referring about how much Harbaugh, D. Edwards, etc., talk about god - not how much it’s covered on the blog. I agree with the comment that all the religious talk can be off-putting. It’s great that Harbaugh and certain players do so much community service. It would be better for them to do it solely for the sake of the common good, rather than in service of some fictitious deity. But, as you said, they can believe and do what they want. Such is life.
I’m with Ace on this. I guess Donovan deleted the retweet quickly? I’m guessing something will be said to Donovan and hopefully he learns from it and that will be the end of the story.
To me there’s a difference between a lower tier team that you usually beat (eg, Minnesota or Purdue) and a team that is not even competitive. I’d much rather watch the a game with the former rather than the latter.
I know people are fed up with the losing, but this game was a step in the right direction for how this team has looked. Offense was really clicking for a while.
I never heard of the Ghoul, but this thread got me curious. There are some clips of him and Ghoulardi on YouTube, and there is some funny stuff. Ghoulardi was the originator and, from the little that I saw, seems funnier. Anyway, I’m happy to have learned a little bit about this stuff – it was a really interesting time in the evolution of television!
I hope something can be done about it. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but what is so annoying about it is that you can't just close the ad or even hit a back arrow to get rid of it. It renders the site unviewable from my iPhone. (Using the mgoblog app seems to avoid the ad for me, but the app is glitchy in other ways.)
Just curious what the implication is from Barrett dropping us, given Beilein's reputation. Is Ace just saying that we were never really in play for him from the beginning? Or could we have backed off from Barrett for some reason?
By "lifestyle choices," I mean things like eating right, exercising, getting enough sun, not having a life that revolves around social media, spending enough time with friends and family, not having superficial values, etc. Far too many people want to fix their problems with a pill. If that mind set is old-fashioned, oh well...
I would be cautious about using marijuana for depression. Regular marijuana use frequently results in lack of motivation, listlessness, etc., which would only make matters worse. I have a cousin who has tried every substance under the sun - including regular marijuana use - for anxiety and depression, and she has continued to get worse over the years. From my perspective, she would be better off trying to maintain as clear a head as possible, and battling the illness through therapy and self-exploration. I know that sometimes depression is caused by chemical/hormone imbalances - which I wouldn't have a clue as to how it should be treated - but from my perspective depression more frequently results from mistakes in lifestyle choices.
You absolutely should watch it, but you need to watch it at least twice. I don't know anyone who liked it much the first time, but the second time you will be enthralled . Trust me.
FYI, on the "watch ESPN" app or the watch ESPN website you can see replays of any match. I usually watch them there in the morning while avoiding spoilers…
I agree. We obviously CAN beat OSU, but we'll be slight underdogs. If we don't beat OSU, our only hope is either that OSU loses two games in conference so that we could still play for the B1G championship (highly improbable), or there is only one other conference champion with just one loss (beside an undefeated or one loss OSU). Even in that second scenario, we would need the voters to go our way.

Sounds like a true Michigan Man. Thanks for posting.
Texas beat Bama at Bama. FSU would be undefeated. I’m not sure the committee could jump Bama over either of those teams. It would look VERY bad.
I hope hope hope at least one of these teams were in the B1G, and was demanding for Harbaugh’s suspension.
Thinking of you, your son, and the rest of your family. There is a whole community behind you!

Don’t forget - weight staying the same is a conversion of fat to muscle.
If only GoJ provided a glossary like this guy…
Any friend of the blog is a friend of mine. Here’s hoping for a full recovery Richard!

Norm MacDonald. The best.

Miles Davis begs to differ.
I’m not judging because I’ve done similar things in the past, but we should call it what it is - stealing the writer’s (and the Athletic’s) work
Agree totally. It’s blowing my mind that I have to read through 50 comments before getting to one that actually makes a valid point.
Hurts to say it, but it’s true.
I agree with that. I said there was an unsatisfying END to the season - namely, losing an elite 8 game that they really should have won.
He’s expressed an affinity for Catholic schools, being Catholic himself
I approve.
I literally just coughed up some of my lunch laughing at this comment. Well done!

Hands down my second favorite college coach.
It’s impressive tape, though you can tell he speed up the play rate. Makes it a little harder to judge.
For me to poop on.

Probably because they think they will have a good chance of winning a national championship there.
Thank you for actually reading and comprehending my post.
