So I might just be bummed about how my program is doing but college football is really starting to lose its luster. I love the new NIL changes and they were long overdue but this would kill the sport for me. I hate the mega conferences and the competitive imbalance is getting so great they might as well not even be playing the same sport. The stuff that made me fall in love with college football isn't enough anymore.
LOL, it is called joking around with someone. Brian is just busting Ed's chops for entertainment value. It makes the segment more listenable to me but you I guess you can't control how someone interprets something.
I don't have the points to start a thread but Brian's pronouciation of Jameis Winston this morning was amazing. I have heard this name on TV over 1000 times I would guess, but never the way I heard it today. Kudos to Brian for moving the verbal paradigm.
It is a terrible product. There is a timeout every 2 minutes and a penalty every other play. The same teams usually win and players rarely stick with the same team for their career.
throwing the logo up at every commercial and having it next to the score is a little much. Is it any wonder why we had to SEC teams in the MNC last year?
podcast a couple of weeks ago and they were talking about the change in philosophy within ESPN. Eisen basically said that the internet changed everything because people could get the scores and stats immediately and didn't have to wait for something to come up on Sportscenter. Also, they added the ticker that cable news made so popular. So for anchors it became less and less about telling the story of what happened in a game and more about being a referee for "analyst" debating issues. I think it is similiar to the rise in popularity of reality TV. The model is take people and make them have conflicting views even if it doesn't make any sense or is completely made up. It is cheap television.
They almost discounted our victory over them because of their circumstance? The circumstance of thier making? If anything should be discounted it should be Tressel's run of success. He is proven cheater that has been given a show cause penalty which calls into question his whole tenure as coach. They also had every player back from suspension at that point.
was an Urban Meyer recruit. I think this is what bothers other people about his recruiting. I know it says the writer was behind it but I am going conspiracy theory and saying Urban orchestrated it.
I live in Northern Kentucky and I have heard that Auburn has already pulled their offer for Pike and that he was trying to get back in touch with Michigan but I can't see them wanting to take on a kid with the headaches this one comes with. I saw him play earlier this year in person and he does have the size and the arm but I am not sure about his neck up and his team was terrible.
wouldn''t the equipment manager notice the amount of equipment leaving the facilities and if he didn't and the school didn't isn't that the definition of "failure to monitor?"
I was pretty happy when the tatoo thing finally stuck to them after all the other nonsense. This has still hurt them and Tressel has been exposed for what he really was.
that they knew he was playing them while they were ineligible and they were complicit in Tressel trying to cover it up. Basically, they tried to save Tressel, which seems very possible considering their rhetoric on not firing him whenever asked. They tried to cover up the cover up! Oh what a tangled web they weave......
It's funny although I come here everyday I have only posted one or twice but I also am getting married this weekend so I wanted to wish you well and hopefully we both make it through this weekend alive.

Michigan had a Stevie!
I love this man. I have been this man. I will be this man again.
It was Mullen's job if Jim stayed in the NFL.

The curse of John Navarre. Everyone treated him like shit even though he was good. We have beat OSU once since he left.
The NCAA truly is useless.
Losses to OSU.
He took a shot at Brian with that little Twitter comment toward the end. I love the we should respect institutional leadership regardless, lol.
Please tell me Brian wasn't ready for the picture to be taken. He was probably ready for the picture to be taken.
Can I go back to when I didn't know this existed?
This guy is garbage. No way anything comes of this.
I want to shoot myself in the face....

The outside receiver totally flinched and no call. Refs always have it out for us.
These two.

how they mention all the conferences and Notre Dame? Who cares what they think?
that the President of Akron Dr. Luis Proenza attended Ohio. Nice little golden parachute for a good soldier after the Colts job fell through.
because he is in Houston for National Coach of the Year ceremony probably also irked Dantonio a bit too.
From tropical isle bourbon street!
at Tropical Isle is a must.

are local too but then again so is Pop Evil. Not comparing those too bands in any way though.
But these pictures don't show it..
Half of it ended up being about the Red Sox with some Yankees sprinkled in.
that NCAA interview. UHHHHHH I think UHHHH you know UHHHHH you should UHHHHH challenge that uhhhhh last play UHHHHHH you know.
I really need Michigan to get back on track this year because this Bengals team looks to rival the Lions 0-16 squad.

We need about four truckloads of jerseys.

the spread and shred?
I would love to see Michigan vs. LSU in Miami.
The NCAA will be even more likely to drill OSU.
