Nebraska ends it in the 5th with a 3-run shot to dead center. Minnesota had a chance to make a game of it in the top half, but squandered it. You gotta come away with more than 1 with the bases loaded and one out.
Bought a ‘24 Ford Maverick Hybrid in February. A small truck than can touch 40 MPG? Yes, please.
Almost 1,300 miles later and I’m in the 36 MPG range. The warm weather really hasn’t hit yet, so I’m sure that number is headed higher. I’m as pleased as I can be so far, even with a crappy audio system and what looks to be a mediocre climate control system.
He had nothing in front of him the last couple years, and I believe he was on one of the WJC teams a couple years ago as well (as mentioned directly above). There’s probably some potential there.

I don’t mind seeing some of these smaller schools getting at-large bids. They seem to appreciate it more.
Yeah, Northwestern got it right in the sugar plums with that draw.
Michigan to Stillwater….vs Kentucky.
3pm on Friday.
Ok St and Northern Colorado in the other half of the regional.
Northwestern gets sent to the Texas region. Oh dear….
Troy Weaver ought to be selling pencils on the side of an expressway, not running an NBA franchise.
Two runs in, and the tying runs are on base.
6-4 M, 2 outs in the 7th. This is getting........
EDIT: Never mind. Derk induces a pop-up on the next pitch and we're all done here.
6-4 Michigan victory.
Tholl goes KA-BOOM! 3-run shot in the 5th. This was a bomb.
6-2 M, bottom 5
A line out and an infield pop-up squashes the rally.
A third double (off of a relief pitcher) gives us runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.
3-2, still bottom 4.
Tholl drives her in with another double off the CF wall.
3-2 M, bottom 4
Erickson brought her bat to the park today. Leadoff double to open the 4th.
Bingo!
Erickson ties it, 3 batters into our side of the inning.
2-2, bottom 1. Scary part is, I don’t think she got all of that.
Well, shit. That’s not the start we wanted.
2-0 UW, 3 batters in.
Wisconsin. 7-3 final
7-2 Wisconsin, top 7.
It might be the Badgers tomorrow, with their ace on one leg.
Wisconsin escapes the 6th unscathed, but their pitcher is hobbled.
Now Wisconsin with a 5-2 lead, bottom 6, and they’re trying their damndest to blow it. Bases juiced, 1 out.
...from a girl with 2 bombs on the year.
MD 000-00 = 0
MI 000-0(10) = 10
Don’t see a line score like that very often.
How about 4 instead?
Good night Irene.
10-0 final. That got out of hand in a hurry.
The wheels have absolutely come flying off for Maryland in the 5th.
It might also explain Borges and his 27-for-27 debacle in Happy Valley.

SPTYNO ??
Yeah, let’s see the price tag on that first…
With the number of guys about to get drafted, they’d still be writing material on Memorial Day.

At this point they're doing juuuuuust enough to not get vaporized in court.
At 6-10 and 198, he’d better commit to the buffet line, too.
Was I the only one that saw Orji hobble a bit there?
EDIT: Never mind. It wasn’t a figment of my imagination.
Maybe Warren needs another look. shrug

Goddammit, Denard.
I saw that on Twitter. Hope everyone is doing well!
Welp…it’s either root for BC in the final or cheer for Denver to get their 10th and pass us. Yuck.
He converted!
I think Tiger would be the closest we could get.
Yeah, I’d rather not have to chew my orange juice.
Barney Miller has to be in that conversation, just for the opening bass line.
Sanford and Son would like a word as well.
Two late period goals…
Yep.
Two late period goals are a killer.
The way they’ve shat themselves the past two months, they should’ve been sponsored by Huggies.
Chairot had the puck on his stick and played grab-ass with it instead of clearing it. About 10 seconds later we got to fish it out of our own net.
So, pretty please. With sugar on top.
Clean the fucking car.
He was wide open twice. It would’ve been a miracle if we had kept it out of the net.
FFS, ESPN,…
Michgian??
FFS, ESPN, mix in some proofreading.
Looking at the replay, yes. I knew he went for the hit and I thought we dumped him good initially.
Blake absolutely got smoked at the buzzer.
Empty net. I guess we’re gonna got real, right now.
We’re gonna fuck around and have a tie game in a minute…
