I hate that we lost, but I hate more that we lost in large part because we played stupid football on an individual mistakes level. Hudson and Metellus had particularly awful games, which sucks because they are seniors who have been good in the past.
Stauskas was awesome in the Beilein offense. Also a much better shooter in college (player, really) than Poole.
THJ had an amazing freshman season that people forget about. Toward the end he was a bit more spotty but he became a very good defender which helped him stay on the floor in the league. Better athlete than Poole.
Levert was an absolute stud in college who battled injuries. Ffs he was taken in the lottery even with the injuries.
Burke is small and had his shot desert him (some poor lifestyle stuff I think) before having a bit of a renaissance recently. Walton was a classic great college player who struggled to be truly elite at anything and so would always be a backup type player.
The only real question with Crawford was the development of his body since he was so skinny. That translated to defense too....but nobody questioned his offensive ability and overall talent. Dude has a 6'10" wingspan!
A lot more questions with Poole tbh. Not really a fair comparison imo.
I feel for the kid because (I think) he has a long road ahead of him with regards to basketball and the reality checks therein. That said, he could probably have a good career in Europe. Just not sure how he stays on the floor in the NBA to be honest.
Prove me wrong, Jordan. Good luck and thank you for the good memories!
Is we have nothing like Sandusky in the program (thank God).
Otherwise, I agree, and I am absolutely not saying Brian was insinuating anything of the sort involving Red, but the first thing I think of when I think of Joe Paterno is turning a blinde eye to Sandusky.
If he can guard at an NBA level and hit threes without turning the ball over, then maybe he can be a backup point guard somewhere. But the position is absolutely stacked right now, so it will be a challenge. The best case scenario would be a Steve Blake-ish career, but Blake did have a couple inches on him...
I worry about tired legs for us on our jumpers. It would be a shock to have a particularly good shooting game. However, hopefully it's enough and we can squeak it out. If we can avoid ridiculous foul trouble and play good defense, I think we can get it.
The vaunted honor of driving the headline of a UV post? She's a minor media personality with a good twitter game, and part of the CFB blogosphere. She said something that fits into the larger piece. Fin.
Seems like something did not click with development or something, because it was kind of unusual how he looked this year vs. last year. A bummer. I hope he has a good career at UCF playing for Pops.
Because, you know, criticizing your workplace isn't a great way to stick around. Why is this even a question? And why are you outing a guy who wants to be anonymous and was a great player for this university? Someone writing about a very real problem that is relevant today. Assuming you're even right.
Because you're a selfish prick trying to show how smart you are in figuring it out. That is the most likely answer.
With Asiasi and Eubanks down the road. Sounds like a mismatch nightmare for defense. Also super psyched about the prospect of a TE who blocks well for years to come. BIG get.
What would be worse than this press release would be to learn that he had done permanent damage to himself that would affect his quality of life in the future. Good luck with your rehab, Spike, and especially with your future. You gave us all some great memories.
Just hope we have good practice for the bowl game and the seniors have a good last game. Sad what happened in their last game at the big house but sometimes life is like that.

Dobbins and the interior of their offensive line destroyed us today. I am sad.

Agree the Crawford stuff is weird. Do people not realize how good he was and (still) is?!

Won the game at the line.
I like the FFFF thing. Good work on that!
But to be honest, I doubt either is a first-rounder. Matthews needs to work on his shooting (really needs to) and Wagner just can't defend in the NBA.
It obviously was not working for him in Ann Arbor and he is doing well in Detroit. I am happy for him, really.
Just nope. Not worth the risk.
Like this is just so fucking sad. Having grown up in that area, good fucking lord I hate it.
RIP.
Good chance they were planning on marrying in Puerto Rico and things fell through with the hurricane.
Good for him and both families.
Just in time for the second half. You can watch on Watch ESPN too btw (most probably know that but just in case).
Mo Hurst? Okay, he wasn’t a starter. He was just one of the most devastating penetrators inside in college football. Just saying.
love it.
It made me sick to read they had been stolen earlier. Happy they are back.
He should stay at Harvard and just keep doing his thing there. I don't see him as a major program coach.

But I wish him all the best going forward.

Fuck, that was a game. I cannot believe we shot that well, nor can I believe that shooting that well was what it took to win the game.
Obviously everyone deserves to have the facts heard, but my general response is ugh.
Yes, that is a success.

I am happy that he kept it together enough to graduate.
Even as a grown man, the human spirit shown by Larry and kids like Larry is an inspiration.
I want to grind FSU into a dust so fine Jimbo snorts it before his halftime talk and then explodes.
And Burke isn't far behind. Frankly, not sure either of them had the best mentality/maturity for the NBA, which is sad.
His problem is still and will be his defense is just so shaky it is hard to have him on the floor.
That defense is playing well. Good for him finding success.

Crable over David Harris is just silly. David Harris was a monster here and has gone on to a very nice NFL career.
Trash, reprehensible human being.
I wish Durkin well with his future coaching. Just so long as he doesn't beat Michigan.
please be a boring safety.

Purely because of the name.
Also Walker.
He is set financially and then some, and living with pain when you're older just isn't worth it anyway.
Harbaugh-esque in the chin department. Truly spectacular. Good hair too. I would vote for him for team captain or really whatever.
thanks Brian.

Glad to hear you're in remission!
(non Hodgkins) but I said the same thing after Flip Saunders got his diagnosis. You never know.
Anyway, I wish James all the best. Awful disease, but treatable in most cases. I'll keep him in my thoughts.
