August 26th, 1995: Pigskin Classic, Michigan vs. Virginia, Dreisbach to Hayes.
I was 8. First ever game with my dad. I was already on the right path with my fandom but that game cemented it. Top 1 or 2 memories I have with my dad.
Take a look at their schedule and tell me who they lose to? That team finished 11-2 last year with their only losses last year coming to P5 teams. The hardest game left on their schedule? Navy?
TBH - I am not off the wagon like most of this board seems to be. I thought the defensive performance was B+ / A- and if we can get that all season from that group, I believe the offense will find their way.
I'd like everyone to remember the 2014 OSU team that got beat on by a Va Tech squad that finished the season 7-6, in the shoe. They got smacked in the mouth, looked in the mirror and went on a tear the rest of the season.
As far as the offense if concerned, I am more on the side that Shea is working through some sort of injury, and I don't believe Harbaugh is controlling the offense, like many want to assume. I believe it was a mutual concerted decision to run the football and limit Army possessions. Do I agree with all of the play calling especially the 4th down? No. However, the bye week is coming at the perfect time. The team will get healthy, be able to work through their kinks, and I believe will come prepared against Wisconsin.
Army will run the table the rest of the year and finish the season with 1 loss and finish once again in the top 25.
Correct, which is why I am hoping for later kickoff. I would like to be able to get up, eat brunch in the city and have plenty of time to get down there and have a few beers somewhere.
From the stuff I have read on various boards is the rumor started floating around because of some tweets but Kelly still won't directly acknowledge it, which the ND fans are taking it as he won't play but BK isn't going to announce.
Mark D is too old. He would only be a stop gap. Also Mark wouldn't know what to do with himself not being able to play the DISREPEKT card with his team.
Saw Johns play in high school in person, unless their is a Haas like big on the other side, I love him at a 5 in a small ball lineup. Too athletic for traditional bigs to hang with and is an above average shooter from 3.
I had this conversation at a golf outing this past weekend. If you are a head coach of a football program and you even get whiff of foul play, assault, abuse, whatever from a player or someone on your staff, it is up to you to immediately put that individual on leave until you can comfortably stand before your team, your staff, fanbase, etc... and say "the police and university investigations have been completed, no criminal charges have been filed, person x was not in the wrong, and we are comfortable letting them back as part of our program."
In today's society it is vital to show you take this serious. There is too much on the line to be casual in regards to these sorts of allegations.
No way Tom leaves MSU... He seems to have escaped the sexual assault scandal unscathed and I think wants to stick around as long as possible to spite people now.
I hate being nervous for this game... I keep trying to talk myself into the fact that we are going to win easily, and can't do it. I cannot explain it but I less scared of Penn State than Purdue right now.
I bought my tickets half expecting a night game. 7:00pm would be great for a kickoff time, IMO. I know it's not a popular opinion around here that MSU game be a night game but I personally am hoping for it.
I hope you are wrong. I am supposed to have a basketball league game at 7... Looks like I will be bailing on the fellas. I don't want to misss the revenge.

Yes, it is possible.

ummmm thanks?
Just remember - in college nobody gets a preseason. It's not unfathomable to believe Army came out rusty in week 1 and worked out their own kinks.

Finally, a FFFF that doesn't make me think we are going up against the greatest show on turf.
Let's…
Section 20 Row 10
Let's get it. Time to flip the script in this rivalry.
We won't be driving down to tailgate on our own - what's the best bar close to the stadium you recommend?
Correct, which is why I am hoping for later kickoff. I would like to be able to get up, eat brunch in the city and have plenty of time to get down there and have a few beers somewhere.
I also am hoping for a 3:30 or night game kickoff.
Great stuff - we will definitely be wanting to grab a bite and a few brews for sure. Appreciate the insight on the practice field too, thanks!
That took all of about 2 minutes - they are claimed.
This place will become insufferable if we don't destroy Western.

From the things I have read he was projected to start opposite Julian Love.
Urban hiding behind his relationship with Earl Bruce... what a clown...

Most of the comments from Badger fans suggest Davis will for sure be suspended on this as well.

I just posted a thread earlier this week around cutting the cord and the unanimous feedback seemed to be in support of YoutTube TV or Playstation Vue.
Is this just hoops or all sports? Hard to tell specifically from the twitter feed.
Edit: link above clarified it.

thanks.
No need to purchase an HD antenna for any local channels then? Sounds like YouTube TV is the way to go.
Aye aye aye... what a Monday mistake. I deserve to take a beating for this.

If he leaves for Orlando, I'll eat a lemon.
This is totally fair.
There's still time to bring someone else.
I will be looking about every 8 hours for updates. I come from Grand Rapids so I try to always come as prepared as possible.
Purdue - 73rd, 69th, 84th
Western Kentucky - 88th, 112th, 87th
For Reference: Cincinnati was 66th, 65th, 71st.
So, technically Cincinnati has more talent on their team than Purdue.
I feel like Michigan has a far superior team but this game terrifies me.
I hate being nervous for this game... I keep trying to talk myself into the fact that we are going to win easily, and can't do it. I cannot explain it but I less scared of Penn State than Purdue right now.

In the couple of clips they showed, I thought his throwing motion looked improved.
James Hudson looks enormous in that picture.
He isn't going to go to a better team than what he has in Cleveland right now.
Also, if this happens, Lebron is about to go into career Purgatory. No chance of catching up with the Warriors now.
Top level FCS can hang. However there are many FCS Schools that have no business playing FBS schools.
Take Butler for example - FCS School DIV 1 - Lost to Div 3 Albion 3 straight yearsin the mid 2000's.
Those guys are on D-1 scholarship and losing to Div 3. Teams like that should not be cupcakes for FBS schools to beat on.
As to not create another thread - Sam just said on WTKA he's putting in a gut feeling for Johns to pick Michigan.
Trust the gut.
My dad is a huge Seger fan - I've been trying to convince him of your 3rd point for years!
This would make more sense if it read...
Smashing Pumkins are borderline terrible.
Jam bands are an awesome and unneccessary excuse for white people to do drugs.
Pink Floyd may have one of the best catalogs of rock music by a wide margin.
Nirvanna and the Beastie Boys are highly overrated
How on earth do you have a record of spring game outcomes? Just remarkable...
I hope you are wrong. I am supposed to have a basketball league game at 7... Looks like I will be bailing on the fellas. I don't want to misss the revenge.
