I was thinking it would be great for some of the players to block the steps to the stage so he can't even get up there for the presentation. Let Fox or whoever else might be up there figure it out from there. I'd love to see a video of Tony scrambling around trying to find an alternate way up there but being blocked by a ring of players. Sort of Revenge of the Nerds style.

We all know that many of our rivals don't care to (or simply can't) understand the details of this case. They just believe we are being punished for cheating and that we were fighting against that punishment (essentially saying we didn't cheat). By accepting the punishment, now all the outsiders (read: idiots) get to say "See? They dropped their case so they admit they cheated!"

Correct. And the committee that approved the longer suspension has 4 members: 2 from PSU, 1 from OSU, and 1 from Northwestern. No bias there, obviously.
And the fact that the committee to approve the harsher penalty was extremely biased - 2 reps from PSU and 1 from OSU should not have power to suspend the coach from the team about to play them in the upcoming weeks. Massive conflict of interest and entirely "unfair", which is ironic considering Pettiti seems to be so focused on fair play and a level playing field.
The team should bring this past year's trophy with them - and after the game celebrate with that one on the field, leaving Pettiti standing on the stage alone, looking like an ass (even more than he already does).
Would love to see the team cover the B1G logos on their uniforms as another middle finger to the conference. But then Pettiti would probably use the Sportsmanship clause to suspend every single player for the rest of the season.
That statistic is shocking. I have a daughter who will likely be going to college in a few years, and this reinforces the need to talk with her more about drugs, alcohol, sex, and doing everything she can to stay safe. Very scary.
It's funny. As soon as our shotgun approach broke through their lines and took away their regional bonuses, they realized the handwriting on the wall and literally gave up. They no longer defend any territories and only attack where individuals want - no central orders or decisions being made any longer. They claim to have intentionally given the victory to us to screw OSU (who had started to attack them as well), but it's really more like they quit when they saw they could no longer win.
After Texas was eliminated, a number of their players joined us as mercenaries with the sole purpose of destroying A&M. The maize longhorn is paying homage to their efforts.

Didn’t really know much, other than I wasn’t fast enough to be a sprinter, and didn’t have the endurance for the longer events. So I figured I might as well just do the 400, it shouldn’t be too bad. Oof. Total agony.
Exactly. This feels more like “the AD wasn’t doing his job so the President had to step in and save the situation.” Seems like any competent AD would think that they would never have let the situation come to this, so the President’s intervention is something that wouldn’t apply to them if they took the role.

I've never been a big fan of including only conference champions for such a limited-access playoff, unless you have a minimum ranking required. We've seen years where a PAC-12 or ACC champion is ranked in the teens or 20s. There's no way winning a conference championship over a bunch of turds should qualify you for a 4-team playoff. 12 team playoff - now that I could see including each P5 champion, but I'd still rather see a requirement that each champion must at least be ranked in the top 20 to qualify.
Plan B: I'm hoping for Georgia to beat LSU, TCU to lose one (or better yet, 2) games, and USC to lose one more. If that all could happen, UM should get in if they lose only to OSU, and would likely be joined by TN as the 3rd (TN) and 4th (UM) seeds. All remaining contenders would have 2+ losses outside of the Clemson/UNC winner (go UNC).

Guess it depends if maximizing the fun comes with significantly increased risk of, say, an STD or unwanted pregnancy? Or perhaps trying wacky new positions that risk physical injury, thus eliminating the ability to have fun for a while? Or do you just stick with the safe but still extremely enjoyable option?

No you need to control all of the territories on a region to control it and receive bonuses. Usually there are 6-8 territories in a region.
