Any thoughts on this video of the M player going ahead of his team and in with MSU ? It doesn’t assign blame obviously, just an interesting tid bit I hadnt seen posted on here yet and wasn’t sure how often they go in together - especially since this week they announced new procedures and more security
edit: the guy that posted the tik tok is NOT me. I hope the MSU players are suspended and the book is thrown at them. In a vacuum of information I just thought it was new info worth sharing. I also incorrectly assumed everyone on here would know I am not saying going ahead of your team in anyway deserves what happened. 😅🥹
I went to college with him and until tonight I didnt even know he made it to the NHL. I just read his players tribune article and man - what a heck of a story
E-40 would disagree with this comment.... 47years young and keeps churning out top hits. This past week he was doing half-time shows during the NBA finals while also on a nationwide tour!

Interesting. I think there is probably a lot of "grass is always greener" with most people. I'm a mechanical engineer and I think about other career paths all the time :)
This is true if you go to Pauline, but all the people who own houses (up to 4-5 blocks west of main off stadium) start parking all their cars on the street as early as Wednesday. I know because I live there. Friday at 3pm there are no street spots to be found almost all game weeks. If you hit Pauline west of 7th though - the parking there is open until MAYBE saturday super early.
I park people 2 blocks from the stadium in my yard. More than willing to work out a deal for the season that would be under half the rate of parknparty. Atmosphere is not as good as the golf course though, so there's that..... but you can walk across the street if you want it. If you're interested in hearing more just let me know.
I start in my front yard while I park a few cars......and usually circle the big house visiting friends in the Crisler lot and the golf course before it's done.
Have you tried the Adidas boost running shoes ? A friend made me try on a pair and now I have 4 pair. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.
A buddy of mine worked with a compulsive gambler that won $1mil off betting the Detroit lions would go winless the year they went 0-16. The problem is that you don't hear of all the horrible bets they put down and lose on, haha.
I bartended summers and during college at a place that closed at midnight at the latest, most times I was out of there by 10pm. $100 cash per night and a paycheck at the end of the week. Don't make excuses.
Tier1 means he doesn't work for an OEM (Original equipment manufacturer). OEMs are Ford, Chrysler, GM, etc. A Tier 1 is a supplier that sends parts directly to the OEM. A tier 2 supplier would send parts to the tier 1, but have no interaction with the OEM.
Had a grand prix in college and one day after bartending (home for the summer) it overheated ~300ft from my parents house. I saw the engine heat light go on and thought I could coast home, but it didnt make it. Popped the hood and a couple of the belts were off. Something was in the engine compartment but I couldnt see what it was.... Some friends were already at my place waiting for me to go out so I was in a hurry.
Paid my little brother $5 to get whatever it was out - twas a cat... Now dead. Must have crawled in there when I was parked outside the bar working. I actually assumed it was a rat or squirrel. Anyway, my bro held it up for everyone to see and freaked all of us out as we watched. Still the best $5 I've ever spent.
I thought you were going to complain about the series. I've been keeping up, but totally agree - very slow. Without the breaking bad background I'd be gone by now...
Yes, small volumes are also assembled at the subaru plant in indiana. Most important though is that the OP missed the only car on that list DESIGNED in Ann Arbor is the Camry!
I went to Michigan Tech and my last engineering class to graduate was taken at UofM. You don't have to be bright to know they are two very different places.
I could compare engineering classes and campus life between the two, but ill leave that alone because it doesnt pertain to this thread as much.
What I will say is many adults would pick Houghton over Ann Arbor. That's an important perspective because I sense there are a lot of MGoBloggers who don't believe it. Skiing, hunting, the pace of life, cost of living, etc. It's one of those things you have to be up there to believe - Houghton is beautiful, even for people that think they'd hate it.
"He chose money over power. In this town, a mistake nearly everyone makes. Money is the Mc-mansion in Sarasota that starts falling apart after 10 years. Power is the old stone building that stands for centuries. I cannot respect someone who doesn't see the difference."
My Pandora is full of UofM ticket offers for this Saturday's game. Not just the audio commercials, but also the popup ads within the app. It's really kind of sad.
If I didn't already know him this interview would make me think he was kind of an idiot. "Don't get caught" was a little strange to say in an interview in full uniform and also seemed like a lot of rambling. Am I the only one ?
Anyway, I like Mitch and I'll be rooting for him - just a weird interview.
I consider myself a pretty die hard UofM football fan. I went to the breakfast / practice thing they had on Saturday as well and even I couldn't sit through the whole thing! Not that it would make a difference to a kid, but pretty boring and it's not like the crowd had any type of reactions to anything to get you back involved.
Best hotel in Indy in my opinion is the Alexander. Brand new and right next to the stadium. Not "cheap" but the brunch buffet is ridiculous (lobster omlets are an option lol) and they usually give free vouchers with a night's stay.

If you're looking for the cheapest, but decent hotel within the city I'd recommend
https://m.lq.com/#details/rooms/6540 I've stayed there before anit it was "fine"
If you do stay at the Alexander the bar I own is across the street - swing over and say hi :) http://www.handlebarindy.com

I'm a huge beach snob, but that is one thing I'm not a fan of regarding the east side / thumb - rocks everywhere!

These days I wake up, park some cars on my front lawn and entertain whatever friends happen to be in town for the game
