Well, this is fun: Kenpom's top 14 teams are all still in.
While there is some bias due to teams' Efficiency Metric improving with each win...that's pretty baffling.
Upside: the big guns battle it out.
Downside: Cinderella is just a pesky duck in a major conference.
Thanks there definitely wasn't any mention of this on the very few media outlets covering the tournament.

This is what the Champions League figured out (with fewer metrics) - geting the best teams on the field (ugh, pitch) makes for a more watchable set of games.
Can someone tell me if its good or bad to have a negative "luck" rating. Does it mean you are very unlucky or that you are lucky?
If you sort that column, the teams with the highest positive luck number have really good records. And the teams with the lowest negative luck number have really bad records. Negative appears to be bad luck.
Unlucky. Your record is poorer than your fundamentals would indicate.
