OT: Michigan Coaches Clinic cancelled

Submitted by Magnus on

I just got an e-mail saying that the Michigan Coaches Clinic in June has been cancelled and postponed until the spring of 2018. According to the e-mail, a recent NCAA rule change ruined the format of their planned clinic, so it will need to be re-formatted for next year.

I wasn't able to make it to any clinics earlier this year. I had been planning to go to one of the Nike clinics, but I put it off with the plan of hitting up Michigan's. Does anyone know of any other decent coaching clinics going on in the midwest over the next couple months?

On one hand, new NCAA regulations that were undoubtedly formulated expressly with Harbaugh in mind deprives coaches at all levels from benefitting from the expertise of some of the most accomplished pro, college and HS coaches in the game. And their own high school and college players also miss out.

On the other, the school guilty of one of the worst academic cheating scandals in history was just crowned NCAA men's basketball champion, and exactly fuckall has been done by the NCAA to North Carolina.

yesterday and I'm pretty sure he said Grand Rapids. They'll be doing a three day clinic in G.R. I think in the middle of June and I think there's another coming up in the Detroit area.
