Any word why Dobbins got the start at RB. All the snaps thus far, too. Which outsider expected that?
August 31st, 2017 at 8:20 PM ^
Holding down the bench.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:48 PM ^
With how often Barrett has been going to Dobbins, he might have legitimately earned the starter spot, even to the point of becoming the comfort target.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:20 PM ^
Weber has a tender hamstring. Also there were reports coming out of camp that Dobbins is just the better back.
August 31st, 2017 at 10:07 PM ^
He looks better than Weber so far.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:21 PM ^
Apparently hamstring issue
August 31st, 2017 at 8:22 PM ^
Weber has a bad hammy
August 31st, 2017 at 8:19 PM ^
let's have a moment of silence for OP and this bullshit thread
August 31st, 2017 at 8:30 PM ^
I figured it would be better to just skip all that and use it as tonight's stream-of-consciousness thread. Football is back. We have to discuss it somewhere. And here's one husk of a thread with a title of medium relevance. Run with it.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:48 PM ^
This is dumb and he should feel dumb.
August 31st, 2017 at 9:23 PM ^
Agreed, not sure why we should feel bad for Indiana. They fired an asshole that cared about winning more than his players. Ohio State hired him because that mentality fits perfectly in Columbus.
August 31st, 2017 at 9:41 PM ^
literally laughed out loud.
then, like 12 seconds later, had the aftershock chuckle.
thank you. now back to driving.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:21 PM ^
HC seems like a hoke-type
August 31st, 2017 at 8:24 PM ^
nice shitpost
August 31st, 2017 at 8:30 PM ^
Debord > Wilson thus far
August 31st, 2017 at 8:30 PM ^
This is should be fun watching the negs head to 100
August 31st, 2017 at 8:31 PM ^
Little off so far.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:34 PM ^
I should have waited a series.
Attacking OSU's safeties seems to be working. Too bad UM doesn't have any big receiving threats to take advantage.
August 31st, 2017 at 9:27 PM ^
Seriously? Have you not read a single word about this freshman wide receiver class?
August 31st, 2017 at 9:47 PM ^
But I think it will be UM's TE's who make them pay the most. OSU's pass defense can't handle size.

Woosh

Let's have a moment of silence for the eventual death of this thread.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:31 PM ^
I'm just following the play-by-play on gamecast. These are not the opening drives I anticipated.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:32 PM ^
my friend
August 31st, 2017 at 8:32 PM ^
I just realized that if Wilson is at Ohio State long term he might recruit and develop actual recievers there. Indiana has seemingly an unending supply of underrecruited NFL caliber recievers.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:33 PM ^
I know Wilson is an Offense guy but does that mean he develops the WR? Has he coached the position before?
August 31st, 2017 at 8:36 PM ^
but, yeah, I deserve that.
August 31st, 2017 at 9:28 PM ^
but he had to have something to do with or at least picked up by osmosis some of this Indiana WR mojo. As I write this Simmie Cobbs, the 974th ranked player in his class(247 composite), just Moss'd probable 1st round pick Denzel Ward. If Ohio State gets a legitmate passing game they might become unbeatable.
August 31st, 2017 at 10:43 PM ^
Ward won't be a first round pick. Getting worked tonight.
September 1st, 2017 at 3:03 AM ^
I think the original gameplan was to have #3 Damon Arnette (6'0") cover Sammie Cobb Jr. (6'4"), but Cobb was absolutely wrecking Arnette. So they experimented by switching their best corner Denzel Ward (5'10") to Cobb Jr., but the height different was too much.
Ward actually seemed to have pretty good coverage on Cobb from a technical standpoint, but didn't have the length to high point the ball like Cobb did.
August 31st, 2017 at 11:00 PM ^
as has, to a lesser extent, Webb.
Baker can't cover and will be eaten alive by UM's TE's.
UM should go to a lot of multiple TE sets as OSU doesn'thave anuone who can hang with them.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:34 PM ^
Not if zach #zone6 smith has anything to say about it!
August 31st, 2017 at 8:32 PM ^
moment of silence? LOL
Not sure if I want IU to win more to make you look like a bigger idiot or the whole OSU losing thing... OSU losing.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:33 PM ^
Nice start for IU but can they maintain it? I have my doubts, plus OSU is notorious for starting games slow.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:33 PM ^
Did Lagow become some newfound golden arm child, or did he pick on the same corner consistently?
August 31st, 2017 at 8:34 PM ^
That TD catch was impressive as hell.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:34 PM ^
Hoosiers have more than DOUBLE the points of the suckeyes!!
GO IU!!
August 31st, 2017 at 8:35 PM ^
The evening open thread, right?
August 31st, 2017 at 8:35 PM ^
OP is on to something. Silence allows the Hoosiers to focus, no false starts, TD.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:35 PM ^
So sick of this bama vs FSU hype. Best opener ever? Can we open with OSU in 2018 so everyone will fuck off
August 31st, 2017 at 8:38 PM ^
Thats a pretty big game
August 31st, 2017 at 9:15 PM ^
Big game, yes.
But every time people think Saban might get tested he wins big.
August 31st, 2017 at 9:36 PM ^
Cancul da seazon... Roll Tide
August 31st, 2017 at 8:48 PM ^
Member when Dave Brandon suggested we move The Game earlier in the season? Member how well that turned out?
August 31st, 2017 at 10:18 PM ^
Member? Come on, man.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:42 PM ^
And Debord's gonna DeBord on that drive.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:46 PM ^
This just in, Ohio State's Co-Offensive Coordinator Ryan Day caught digging for gold on camera.
August 31st, 2017 at 8:50 PM ^
He was going for the strong finish with the nibble, but he flicked it off instead
