This is a big loss for BK and Notre Dame. Their OLine was one of the better coached units in CFB.

Brian Kelly seems like such a nice guy, I can't imagine why anyone would leave the opportunity to work for him...

may lose MIKE ELSTON. Keep an eye on that former Wolverine!

from assistant head coach/DL coach to associate head coach/DL. What the heck is the difference between an assistant and associate head coach?

is the authority on that matter.

The OLine coach didn’t want to get blanketed by Levert Hill either /s

to cope with another coaching defection, Brian Kelly quits ND and pursues his life long dream:
Still retaining his favorite shades of purple for his new business cards.

Which one wins a smile-off?

Strangely, I can imagine him smiling.

His family is a summer home up the road from my parents which made me read up on him over the years. Short version of what I found was that he was really really good at developing talent for an Oline that was a consistent strength for ND. Glad he has moved back to the nfl and can’t imagine this not having an impact in September

their studs in McGlinchey and Nelson. Quenton Nelson was the best player in the country regardless of the position. He was dominant at LG and can dominate at the POA. Glad that he's no longer playing for ND or he'll give any of the Michigan DL a business.

This pleases me very much.

I believe he was the primary recruiter for NPF so that can't hurt. I heard we could use an offensive tackle....or two.

So what happens if Drevno moves on also?
January 10th, 2018 at 4:55 PM ^
Frey already moved on so that can't help either but any little bit helps. Who knows what draws a kid to a school but just an observation. Perhaps his relationship with the OL coach was what drew the kid to ND. I terms of Drevno, I am skeptical that he will he leaving. If he does leave, I am happy. If he stays and we get NPF, I am also happy.

It's to bad Harbaugh wasn't able to get him before the NFL did...

Schedule is brutal next year. Must win first game or the grumbling will intensify dramatically

They lose a few more players/coaches to the NFL......

Is there any way we can snake oil him into coming to Michigan....that would be the recruiting win of the year!
