I love that you are out there asking actual detailed questions even if they don't get an answer from the coaches rather than the: "Jake Butt is great, coach. Would you say something about that?"
There is no version of anything like this that would work. We point and laugh when any other school does this. You know as soon as the song is recorded there will be an awful music video produced that will circulate every college sports blog. If they weren't so sincere about this awful idea I would think they were pulling a long con on us.
All I want is for the offense to use all of the information available to select the best play to succeed against a given defense. Huddling leaves them no opportunity to do this because they have five seconds once they see the defensive formation. The decision to huddle doesn't absolve the playcalling because the OC can still see the defensive personnel on the field. For the play on the front page, Al should have seen that there were four defensive tackles in the game and done anything else.
I'm dreading to see the offensive RPS number from the UFR. Coaching against Borges would be like playing rock paper scissors against someone who throws on "3" and lets you throw on "shoot."
Honest question: Has Al Borges ever heard of game theory?
They played the beat for "Wait (The Whisper Song)" by the Ying Yang Twins. All that ran through my head was "Oh God, please don't play the words, please don't play the words"
Ty Isaac is one of the top running backs in next years class. The interest in David Perkins is more indicative of a continued interest in taking a running back in this class.
Didn't State just cut a bunch of undergrad programs recently? If there are any students there that care about academics--hahaha I couldn't even finish that thought.
Just for the record his name is Jourdan Lewis not Lewis Jourdan. Apparently his name has been getting reversed all year including by these commentators.
I have noticed that Hoke prefers taking the ball to start the game if we win the coin toss. Is there a difference in win percentage for taking the ball first vs starting the game on defense?
I'm not sure if there is a real answer to this, but if Joe Paterno is unfit to remain the head coach after this year, what makes him fit to remain the head coach for the completion of this season? What changes between now and January 3?
I'm re-watching the game right now and I've noticed it a few times. He does it right before he gets set. He did it on the 4th and 1 in the second quarter, the next play after that and then the first play in the 3rd quarter. I would imagine he does it every play but we just don't see it because the camera doesn't show the offense until after they are set.

Hate to be that guy but Holstrom's line is 7-26-33.

At Florida Urban Meyer had college co-eds sit on things for him. Now at OSU he has to settle for beat reporters. Kind of a downgrade IMO.

Hopcat is a venue, Grand Rapids Brewing Company is a venue, etc. With a little planning you can turn artprize into a beer tour of Grand Rapids.
Could we get a question in an upcoming presser on why the defense doesn't seem to check out of a play when the opposing offense does?

How secure is that source? They're asking for my credit card number to validate my location.
Why no Brady Pallante?
Nothing
Jimmy Graham has been decent the last couple years. And different position but Joe Reitz from Western made the transition to offensive lineman.
Let the speculation begin; is that #1 jersey a prototype?

If I recall correctly before the hiring of Montgomery was announced, Brian's ideal candidate was Beyonce.
Stauskas looks like he really wants Burke to buy that new car.

It looked like Terrence Talbott was getting some reps in the with 1st team D. Haven't heard a word about him all spring.

Enjoying my last bottle of Hopslam watching the Wings and listening to the hockey game.

Yes they did, it was Miami.

He appears pretty calm.
Their big screen hardly ever played replays so most missed it. Too busy trying to figure out which helmet the football is under.

Already been posted, but that is jersey is worn by whichever practice squad receiver (Stonum) will imitate the other team's #1 receiver.
Incorrect, the limiting factor for us is the limit of 85 total scholarships.
