Ownership. Better decision making on whom to hire. Getting Brad Holmes. Create a culture and adding players that fit that culture. Holmes has absolutely been one of the elite GMs since he got to Detroit. Campbell has created and real culture that the players buy into. It’s been remarkable.

Imagine losing to them in the regular season and how they will act like they've won the national title. Only to lose to Michigan on a neutral site in the playoffs. That would be satisfying.
What this team has meant to me over the past three years I really have a hard time explaining to anybody else. That isnt a Michigan fan. With so much uncertainty in life and so many things have gone on, the stability of this team the character of these players has meant so much.

looking at the past to determine what THIS team do isn’t fair to the players on THIS team. THIS team came back for a reason. They have checked every box. Met every challenge. Has it been an aesthetically pleasing? No. Have the emerged victorious? YES. Believe in them. They will fight. They will not back down. Will they win? I’m not sure. But I have faith in these players. Let’s finish the job and shove it in everyone’s faces.

This particular team is easily the most prepared and focused. Will they win? I certainly hope so. But to be BPONE is a bit much. The saddest thing is even if they do win the whole thing there will be a narrative against them.
