We need to stop consistenly trying to compare our efforts with those of teams that have been ridiculously successful for the past decade, until we actually win something. Our recruiting woes this past year were looked at through the perspective of what teams like Alabama, OSU, and others were able to achieve on the recruiting trail. Of course, some will point out quick turnarounds for programs like Georgia, but they have a much better chance of recruiting because they are in the south. It's a tougher sell to come up north. We have not been a top tier program for a long time. Harbaugh is trying to rebuild the calamity that was this program. The teams shows signs of competing and we have some pretty good talent, but c omparing ourselves to generational teams in OSU and Alabama is foolhardy. We need to be more successful on the field in order to compete for recruits like that. Give Harbaugh time.
So the famous line when Vader reveals Lukes lineage (spoiler alert) I always thought he said "Luke, I am your father." Welp, apparently I somehow misremembered that and it actually goes "No, I am your father." Is Speight being allowed to make presnap reads and audible into a viable play? I haven't played football in 10 years and I saw multiple pre-snap reads that could've easily been an audible. Obvious blitz packages from AF defense as well as zone and man to man cues were present throughout the entire game. I don't know if this was on Speight or coaching.
