Pretty cool. Perhaps DB will ask Hugh to be the mascot. /s

Don't really care if it was actually him or his team tweeting this out, gotta enjoy Michigan getting some love. As others have said, call up Marvel (or Disney now) and get Wolverine as the official school mascot. Wolverine is the best he is at what he does, and I sure hope Michigan baketball is the best at what they do this weekend.

Random side note, I really hope the new Wolverine movie is significantly better then the last one.

that's gotta count for something.  Forget the fact that when he researched for his role as Wolverine he studies wolves until the producer set him straight. ..  .

he got some positive MIchigan exposure when filming Real Steel in Detroit.  My best friend from high school was an extra and gave him a box of expensive cigars...I know...cool story, bro.  But I'm sure he has fond memories of his time in Michigan.

No one remembers him helping us in the comeback vs. Notre Dame with these things?

I'd have to check the tape, but was he on the sidelines that day, or record a message for the big screen?

In any case, us Wolverines have to stick together...

Jackman is Wolverine because of Crowe. Crowe was originally offered the role but didn't want to play a superhero (I guess he only wants to play the father of superheroes), and he suggested fellow Aussie (and friend) Jackman....who still wouldn't have gotten the role because they cast Dougray Scott, but shooting on Mission Impossible 2 ran long and they needed to shoot X-Men so Hugh got the call.

So apparently Australian actors love them some Michigan.
