Denard made a joke. I was properly marking it as such in true Michigan fashion.

Why would he use his left hand to hold the knife when he is right handed? Did he get used to that when his ulnar nerve was an issue?
Neil Young pulled out of a tour in 1997 after cutting himself making a ham sandwich. I'm impressed that Denard is "gutting it out" and blowing it off like nothing happened.

That was a rare occurrence. He carried the ball in his left hand the vast majority of the time.
Im honestly impressed that you found this within 3 minutes of my post. Clearly never ever was a bit of hyperbole but as magnus said, it was a very rare occurence for Denard to carry the ball in his right hand.

If you search for "Denard Robinson" on Google images, it's the second-highest-ranked photo of Denard with the ball tucked under an arm, after his Heisman stiffarm of Te'o. However, it appears that all the other top results show Denard with the ball under his left arm, except for one...
... which, if I remember correctly, was also a pretty good run. Maybe he should try carrying the ball under his right arm more often.
