Urban Meyer says he might pull a "Jim Harbaugh" and hold spring practices in Florida next year
Knew it was only a matter of time before Urban started copying the Steve Jobs of coaching Mr. James Joseph Harbaugh.

Speaking of a son of a bitch...
This is amusing because a month ago he said this...Pat Narduzzi on #Pitt moving spring practice off-site à la Michigan: "If we’re allowed to do it next year, we may look at it.”

I talked to Pat Narduzzi. Asked him about Michigan’s spring break Florida practice. He doesn’t like it. https://t.co/Fz6CmoxMJR

Would lover for Michigan to schedule Pitt in the near future. God knows we won't see them in a bowl game or in the Playoffs.

I'm outraged. Definitely. Anyone else?
I haven't been this mad since McDonald's discontinued the McJordan...
McDonalds discontinued the McJordan?
... way to ruin my year.
Really, you must have seen that coming? Did you really think he was going to turn Rutgers around???

Dammit Urban, think of the kids. How can you deprive them of their right to go to Cincinnati for Spring Break?

He'd be dumb to do.
Now watch Urban wiggle his way out of this pickle we've put him in! Well done UM Sydney (and remember to put your shoes away at night - terrifying place you have there)
That coach up north?
Oh, bravo, Sr. Hammer!
By "spring practices" he really means hunt for co-eds on spring break in Florida.
Winner. Shut it down and go home to your dinner, boys.
I might pull an Urban Meyer next year and fake a heart attack when things aren't going well at work, and/or make sweet, sweet love to a few Florida undergrads...
That was a clear case of his word vs. Urban's word. We may never know the truth, but just because a few dudes say Urb tried to use his position to gain sexual favors should be dismissed summarily if this is all they have to go one.
might pull a Summer's Eve next year and be a douchebag.
now i'm sure delaney will step in and defend it.
Maybe if Harbaugh put on a sweater vest and gave Peppers a new Lexus every week, Delaney would have some motivation to defend him.

I think the Miami area is a perfect area for OSU.
Similar corruption histories, lots of tat shops.
on this issue, it's great to see some BIG followers on this issue:
The more coaches who test the waters on extra-territorial Spring-break practices, the more difficult it will be for the NCAA to do anything about it. The NCAA is a cabal of cowards, so the more schools that do this the better it is for M.
Harbaugh has weathered the media storm, generated free PR for M during the offseason, and it looks like smooth sailing on the horizon. For extra-territorial Spring-break practices, that is.
Leaders and best.

The Freep headline will no doubt read:
Former University of Michigan Recruiting Target Mateen Cleaves Accused of Sexual Assault

Poor little Steven Mateen Izzo. Ugh, now THAT has got to suck...
Written by Sharp no doubt.
If Urban Meyer tries to pull a Jim Harbaugh too many times he will literally have a heart attack with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.

that GA of his is probably still there.
Well, I can't say I am all that surprised - I think it was Warren Buffet that said, "First come the innovators, then come the imitators, then come the idiots." Pretty sure Meyer would probably be in the "imitator" category in this case, but if Harbaugh is the innovator here, you can only imagine which coaches would fall under "idiot". Wait, no, they coach in the Southeastern Conference, and they'd have to change their rules first.
Now I have to go home and make a "promise" to my wife to not cheat on her with grad students again, run away from work when it gets hard, or enable future serial killers.
